Over the last seven years, at the scene of earthquakes and
tsunamis across the world, one regular presence has been a team of
rescuers in orange coveralls with "CHINA" printed on the back. The
rescuers are a group of international humanitarian relief
activists, known as the "orange flames" from China. They are with
the 2nd international heavy rescue team in Asia, and the 12th group
in the world to have secured official approval from the United
Nations - the China International Search and Rescue Team
(CISAR).
