內(nèi)容概要

　　《2012考研英語復(fù)習(xí)指導(dǎo)》經(jīng)全新改版后，按考試試題的五個項(xiàng)目編寫成五章，每章包括三部分內(nèi)容：（一）概說、實(shí)例剖析、命題考點(diǎn)、應(yīng)試準(zhǔn)備和應(yīng)試方法；（二）2001-2010年真題精解；（三）分項(xiàng)模擬試題解析。一、英語知識運(yùn)用本章中包括2001-2010年10篇真題精解和10篇完形填空模擬練習(xí)。二、閱讀理解PartA本章是重中之重，也是這次修訂的重點(diǎn)。內(nèi)容包括了2001-2010年41篇真題精解和60篇模擬試題解析。三、閱讀理解PartB本章是《考試大綱》規(guī)定的“選擇搭配題”。包括2005-2010年6篇真題和10篇模擬練習(xí)。四、閱讀理解PartC即“英譯漢”，介紹了英譯漢的基本翻譯技巧和考研試題中?？嫉挠⒄Z句型，并舉例詳解。所引例句選自2001-2010年10篇真題，有的放矢，針對性強(qiáng)。五、寫作本章做了大量的修改和補(bǔ)充。包括2001-2010年10篇寫作真題并提供了“審題思路”和“參考作文”。

作者簡介

　　朱泰祺，北京化工大學(xué)英語教授，北京市級優(yōu)秀教師，享受國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼。朱泰棋教授自1982年以來一直從事考研英語的輔導(dǎo)工作，積累了豐富的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，現(xiàn)任享譽(yù)全國的北京太奇培訓(xùn)學(xué)校大型考研英語輔導(dǎo)班主講教授。朱教授曾15次參加國家教委研究生英語入學(xué)考試考后評分細(xì)則制定工作。主要論著有：《試評1993年碩士學(xué)位研究生英語入學(xué)試題的難度》，主編《碩士研究生英語入學(xué)考試對策、詳解、沖刺》，編著《大學(xué)英語練習(xí)與測試》、《新編碩士研究生英語入學(xué)考試復(fù)習(xí)指導(dǎo)》。

　　Bankers have been blaming themselves for their troubles in public. Behind the scenes， they have been takingaim at someone else： the accounting standard-setters. Their rules， moan the banks， have forced them to reportenormous losses， and its just not fair. These rules say they must value some assets at the price a third party wouldpay， not the price managers and regulators would like them to fetch.　　Unfortunately， banks lobbying now seems to be working. The details may be unknowable， but theindependence of standard-setters， essential to the proper functioning of capital markets， is being compromised.And， unless banks carry toxic assets at prices that attract buyers， reviving the banking system will be difficult.　　After a bruising encounter with Congress， Americas Financial Accounting Standards Board （FASB） rushedthrough rule changes. These gave banks more freedom to use models to value illiquid assets and more flexibilityin recognizing losses on long-term assets in their income statements. Bob Herz， the FASBs chairman， cried outagainst those who "question our motives." Yet bank shares rose and the changes enhance what one lobbyinggroup politely calls "the use of judgment by management."　　European ministers instantly demanded that the International Accounting Standards Board （1ASB） dolikewise. The IASB says it does not want to act without overall planning， but the pressure to fold when itcompletes its reconstruction of rules later this year is strong. Charlie McCreevy， a European commissioner，warned the IASB that it did "not live in a political vacuum" but "in the real world" and that Europe could yetdevelop different rules.
