內(nèi)容概要

The New World Press excels in
publishing books in both Chinese and English versions．They have
attended my international dialogues in the past year，made efforts
to coHect and record them and compiled the contents into thiS
book．Readers will find that the rapid growth of the Internet and
satellite television have made the world ever smaller；the public of
different countries also pay more and more attention to how their
own countries’international reputation influences their personal
interests．In this sense，the public of different countries are no
longer passive receivers of public diplomacy,but active
participants．Today,the main body of public diplomacy is the social
institutes and NGOs in economy,culture，education，science，
media，sports，arts and religion．

作者簡(jiǎn)介

趙啟正，1940年出生于北京。1963年畢業(yè)于中國(guó)科技大學(xué)核物理專(zhuān)業(yè)。曾在北京中國(guó)核工業(yè)部第二研究設(shè)計(jì)院、航天部上海廣播器材廠(chǎng)工作二十年，任教授級(jí)高級(jí)工程師、副廠(chǎng)長(zhǎng)等職。曾多次榮獲上海市和航天部勞動(dòng)模范、先進(jìn)工作者稱(chēng)號(hào)，并獲三項(xiàng)發(fā)明專(zhuān)利。歷任上海市工業(yè)委員會(huì)黨委副書(shū)記，中共上海市委常委、組織部長(zhǎng)、上海市副市長(zhǎng)兼上海浦東新區(qū)黨工委書(shū)記及管委會(huì)主任。1998年調(diào)任國(guó)務(wù)院新聞辦公室主任。現(xiàn)任全國(guó)政協(xié)外事委員會(huì)主任、中國(guó)人民大學(xué)新聞學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)。
