版權(quán)頁：   HEIRS 繼承人 strictly, those whom statutory law would appoint to inherit an estate should the ancestor die without a will（intestate ） .29 Cal.Rptr.601 ,605 ,606 ; 332 P.2d 773 ,775.Synonyms: " heirs at law," " rightful heir, " "legal heirs." The term is often applied indiscriminately to those who inherit by will or deed as well as by operation of law.Compare devise;grant; inheritance.See co-heir; intestate succession ; pretermitted heir. AND HIS HEIRS 參見 HEIRS at common law these words had to be included in order to convey a fee simple. See 112 S.W.53,55.The formal requirement has been abolished or modified by statute in most of thestates,and now one may convey or devise real property without using these technical words.See 300 N.Y.S.1279.These words are" words of limitation（describing the nature of the estate granted,a fee simple） not words of purchase（describing the persons to whom it is given） …… This construction prevails unless it plainly appears from the context of the will（or other instrument）that such was not the testator's （or grantor's） intention." 157 A.328.
