It's been over ten thousands years sinceour ancestors started to use primitive materials to build hutches. Architectures areimportant part of man's history, representing the value and emotions of humanbeings. Architectures reflect the relationship between man and man as well as therelationship between man and the Nature. Making a general survey of the cities,buildings and gardens around the world now, we can see that all these architecturesare part of our living environment. They are good evidences of man's continuousefforts to develop and try to keep in harmony with the Nature at the same time.

Forwesterners, but for the intervention of God to confuse the languages among thecraftsmen, man could have realized the dream of getting to heaven.An agriculture-oriented country always attaches great importance to astronomi-cal observation. By observing heavenly bodies, man can grasp the laws of naturalphenomena like season change and fluctuation of river and make sure that produc-tion activities go on smoothly. The ancient study of astronomic phenomena alwaysgave birth to astronomical witchcraft. Egyptians believed that man's ultimate homewas heaven.In the time when Greece dominated, Greece experienced a rare period of peaceand highly developed civilization, esp. their democratic politics. It is because ofsuch political system that enabled humanity to develop to its utmost. However,ancient Greeks still believed that all the beauty and glory was arranged and managedby deities. In Greek myths, Mount Olympus that towered in the clouds was hometo deity. Zeus, the mountain deity and father of human beings, controlled everythingthere. The appearance of these deifies was the same as that of man, but their beautyand charm incomparable.
