版權(quán)頁(yè)：插圖：In October 2001, the Lunar Exploration Project was established. In April 2003, the China National Space Administration formally initiated advance research of the Lunar Exploration Project. With two-year-long efforts, the relevant departments further deepened the scientificgoals andimplementation approaches, carried out the technical schemes of the Lunar Exploration Project, set up an at ionwide cooperative engineering system and presented a circumlunar exploration program based on current capabilities.  On January 23, 2004, Premier Wen Jiabao approved the Report on the Establishment of Circumlunar Exploration Project. Until then, the implementation of the Phase I Lunar Exploration Project of China-Circumlunar Exploration Project was formally in itiated, which was a key step taken by China in the deep space exploration.
