《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)》是根據(jù)教育部全國(guó)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育考試委員會(huì)最新修訂的“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)”課程考試大綱（B）水平要求編寫的基于網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學(xué)的一套公共基礎(chǔ)課教材。    網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學(xué)和學(xué)習(xí)是指以計(jì)算機(jī)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)為工具，利用各種教學(xué)平臺(tái)、學(xué)習(xí)軟件和網(wǎng)絡(luò)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)資源進(jìn)行教學(xué)與學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程。網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)和信息具有及時(shí)、互動(dòng)、知識(shí)豐富、圖文并茂等特點(diǎn)，是非常適合學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的教育、教學(xué)模式。    《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)》主要面向具有高中起點(diǎn)和?？破瘘c(diǎn)、接受網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育的本科學(xué)生。本書的編寫旨在幫助學(xué)生掌握英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用能力、閱讀理解能力、翻譯技能和寫作技能。    本套教材內(nèi)容新穎，題材多樣，課文多選自國(guó)外優(yōu)秀原版書刊、雜志，部分文章來(lái)源于精挑細(xì)選的網(wǎng)絡(luò)資料，使學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)到基本的英語(yǔ)知識(shí)的同時(shí)，還能夠?qū)Ξ?dāng)前的西方文化有所了解，從而在對(duì)外溝通和交流中減少甚至避免由于文化差異而產(chǎn)生的障礙和誤解。    該教材由東北財(cái)經(jīng)大學(xué)車麗娟教授任叢書主編，共分三冊(cè)，每?jī)?cè)12個(gè)單元，每個(gè)單元的課文和練習(xí)都圍繞一個(gè)主題展開，課文全部采用原文材料，難度梯度遞增。選材力求題材多樣，內(nèi)容豐富有趣。三冊(cè)書各單元內(nèi)容包括主課文、練習(xí)（包括基于主課文的閱讀理解、技能或語(yǔ)法練習(xí)、詞匯練習(xí)、完形填空、句子翻譯、與主題相關(guān)的寫作練習(xí)）、與主題相關(guān)的實(shí)用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)方式（包括單詞、短語(yǔ)、句子）和知識(shí)點(diǎn)講解（包括交際技能、語(yǔ)法、翻譯技能講解）。根據(jù)考試大綱考察內(nèi)容，三冊(cè)書各有側(cè)重點(diǎn)：第一冊(cè)側(cè)重交際技能的培養(yǎng)；第二冊(cè)側(cè)重語(yǔ)法知識(shí)的鞏固；第三冊(cè)側(cè)重翻譯技能的提高。每?jī)?cè)書根據(jù)側(cè)重點(diǎn)配有相應(yīng)的練習(xí)，并都附帶答案，學(xué)生可以進(jìn)行自評(píng)。
