　　《千島湖（英文版）》是一個年輕的人工湖泊。她的前身是發(fā)源于中國第一名山--黃山的新安江，因1959年建造新中國第一座大型水力發(fā)電站而筑抄！蓄水形成的?！　∏u湖是中國最美的湖泊?！扒u、碧水、金腰帶”是千島湖最具特色的景觀，有著“千島碧水畫中游”之美譽。她是國家44個首批重點風景名勝區(qū)之一，還被國家地理雜志等媒體評為中國20個最美麗的地方之一?！　∏u湖是中國水質(zhì)最好的湖泊。她平均水深34米，能見度達9米以上，不經(jīng)任何處理就能達到國家飲用水標準。享譽全國的農(nóng)夫山泉飲用水就產(chǎn)自于千島湖?！　∏u湖是中國湖泊旅游度假的典范。她是全國首批4A級旅游區(qū)之一，在獲得全國文明森林公園、全國保護消費者權益示范景區(qū)和浙江十佳美景首位等眾多榮譽之后，去年又新獲得了浙江省最具吸引力的風景區(qū)、浙江十佳休閑度假勝地之首、上海市民最喜愛的浙江景區(qū)等榮譽稱號，并被納入全國“黃金周”假日旅游預報統(tǒng)計重點景區(qū)。特別是2004年10月18日，在加拿大尼亞加拉市召開的第八屆國際花園城市B類城市決賽中千島湖鎮(zhèn)一舉摘得了唯一一個金獎桂冠，成為目前為止我國乃至整個東南亞地區(qū)唯一獲此殊榮的B類城市。

作者簡介

　　Monique Van Dijk first cameto China in 1997 on a whirlwind tour of the countryand decided then and there thatChina was the place for her.After an intensive year at the Beijing Language and Culture University she returned to hernative New Zealand tocomplete her Masters in Creative Arts. Unable to stayaway， Monique and herhusband now reside in Beijing where she works as a freelancewriter and filmmaker in between her travels around China.
