內(nèi)容概要

　　這部面向大學(xué)生和區(qū)域文化愛(ài)好者的教材，全面評(píng)介了三峽文化的生成、內(nèi)涵、特征、特質(zhì)及其現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。在理論上揭示了三峽文化的景觀性、悠久性、豐厚性、多元性和現(xiàn)實(shí)性品格的同時(shí)，從歷史文化、山水文化、名人文化、石刻文化、軍事文化、風(fēng)情文化、藝術(shù)文化、影視文化、水電工程文化、旅游文化以及區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)等11個(gè)側(cè)面描述了三峽文化的現(xiàn)存形態(tài)，它們的形成機(jī)理以及對(duì)三峽社會(huì)全面發(fā)展的各自潛能。本教材中文版自2004出版以來(lái)深受廣大師生好評(píng)，本英文版略有刪節(jié)。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

　　胡紹華，男，1951年11月生，博士，三峽大學(xué)長(zhǎng)江三峽發(fā)展研究院教授，碩士生導(dǎo)師。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)橹袊?guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代文學(xué)、民間文學(xué)與區(qū)域文化，出版學(xué)術(shù)專著《宗教文化與中國(guó)現(xiàn)代文學(xué)》、《三峽民間藝術(shù)概論》等4部，在《光明日?qǐng)?bào)》、《外國(guó)文學(xué)研究》等學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表論文40余篇。
劉瑄傳，男，1952年10月生，三峽大學(xué)長(zhǎng)江三峽發(fā)展研究院兼職研究員，外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院教授，碩土生導(dǎo)師。1998年9月至1999年8月在澳大利亞做訪問(wèn)學(xué)者。2008年3月至2010年3月任美國(guó)達(dá)拉斯德州大學(xué)孔子學(xué)院中方院長(zhǎng)。主要從事翻譯理論與實(shí)踐、英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法和對(duì)外漢語(yǔ)教學(xué)研究。主要科研成果有：《夢(mèng)圓宜昌》(漢譯英)《少年游騎兵》(英譯漢)；主編英語(yǔ)教學(xué)工具書(shū)、參考書(shū)6部；任副主編、參與編寫(xiě)教材及工具書(shū)共計(jì)14部；在國(guó)內(nèi)外發(fā)表論文、譯文30余篇。

　　The development of culture consists not only of the change of the times， but ofthe differences among areas. Thats to say， any cultural phenomenon goes alongwith the characteristics of local regions and with the product of a specific historicalprocess. Therefore， the research on culture has to be conducted on spacial andtemporal axes since culture always bases on history and the differences among areas There are three different kinds of understanding and explanation about thegeographical area in the study of the Three Gorges Culture. Firstly， it refers to theThree Gorges Area in a narrow sense——the region alongside the Three Gorges （theQutang Gorge， Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge） with a watercourse of a 193 kmlong from Baidicheng （White Emperor City）， Fengjie County， and ChongqingMunicipality in the west to Nanjinguan （ Nanjin Pass）， Yichang City， in the east ofHubei Province. The region was defined by Yang Shoujing， a famous scholar inthe Late of the Qing Dynasty and the early of the Republic of China.
