內(nèi)容概要

口譯，是人類交流思想所借助的重要手段之一。在甲乙所方互不通曉對(duì)方語(yǔ)言的情況下，若要進(jìn)行會(huì)談、交涉、說(shuō)理、談判，通訊進(jìn)行科技、工農(nóng)業(yè)生產(chǎn)、文藝、貿(mào)易、防務(wù)、企業(yè)管理等方面的友好合作與經(jīng)驗(yàn)交流，口譯是不可缺少的一個(gè)橋梁；在許多國(guó)家代表出席的國(guó)際會(huì)議上，口譯更屬必不可少的一項(xiàng)工作。在了解情況、洋為中國(guó)用以促進(jìn)祖國(guó)的四化大業(yè)方面，在反地霸權(quán)主義，維護(hù)世界和平的事業(yè)中，口譯也是一項(xiàng)重要的工作。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

鐘述孔，1949年畢業(yè)于四川大學(xué)英國(guó)語(yǔ)文學(xué)系。1950年入外交部亞洲司工人并兼任外交部高級(jí)翻譯。1965年后，任北京外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院副教授、外交學(xué)院兼職教授，后任聯(lián)合國(guó)“中國(guó)譯員培訓(xùn)部”兼職教授。1980年起，參與一系列國(guó)際會(huì)議。后出任聯(lián)合國(guó)總部技術(shù)合作促進(jìn)發(fā)展部政策與發(fā)展規(guī)劃司司長(zhǎng)。1990年任外交部國(guó)際公司銜參贊；曾出席國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)、發(fā)展、環(huán)境領(lǐng)域的一系列多邊談判會(huì)議；后任外交部環(huán)境問(wèn)題特別顧問(wèn)至今。目前仍受聘外學(xué)院的兼職教授。著作有：《英漢翻譯手冊(cè)》，《實(shí)用口譯手冊(cè)》、《21世紀(jì)的挑戰(zhàn)與機(jī)遇》、《國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)關(guān)系和全球環(huán)境與發(fā)展》等書。

　　序言　　本書于1981年8月寫成。中國(guó)對(duì)外翻譯出版公司于1984年2月出版發(fā)行此書之后，作者曾收到國(guó)內(nèi)不少年輕在職譯員的來(lái)信，表示此書對(duì)他們的工作頗有幫助。有的來(lái)信表示已利用工作之余做完書中的大部分練習(xí)，感到有收獲；有的來(lái)信還同時(shí)表示，希望此書再版，因他們的親友掃興地獲悉此書已售完。另?yè)?jù)友人告，國(guó)外的一些大學(xué)，包括美國(guó)和英國(guó)的培訓(xùn)口譯人員的研究生院，也采用此書作為一種教材或指定讀物?！　「鶕?jù)中國(guó)對(duì)外翻譯出版公司的要求，作者利用業(yè)余時(shí)間對(duì)此書作了修訂。刪去了一些時(shí)間性過(guò)強(qiáng)的段落或練習(xí)，代之以更典型的或年輕口譯人員更有參考價(jià)值的篇章或?qū)嵗?，以饗讀者?！　∽髡叩墓ぷ鹘?jīng)歷和水平者有局限性，敬希讀者指正?！　＄娛隹住　?991年5月于北京
