內(nèi)容概要

本書是上海市高等學(xué)校教育高地建設(shè)項(xiàng)目，是為普通高校英語專業(yè)本科生編寫的文學(xué)教材。本書共20章，分兩大部分。第一部分為英語短篇小說結(jié)構(gòu)要素分析，第二部分為當(dāng)今西方通用的文學(xué)批評(píng)方法。每章除了基礎(chǔ)理論的介紹，還有選文作者的介紹、相關(guān)評(píng)論、英文注釋、思考問題及答案。本書可作為英語專業(yè)學(xué)生必修課和選修課教材之用．也可供英語愛好者提高文學(xué)修養(yǎng)之用。
