內(nèi)容概要
本書總體內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)以文化定義、影響文化的因素為先導(dǎo)(第一章至第二章),以求先了解文化梗概?! 渡鐣?huì)與文化》中各單元中具體國家的內(nèi)容編寫以1.國度與人民,2.文化特點(diǎn),3.社會(huì)學(xué)理論常識(shí),4.焦點(diǎn)問題為主線。各章節(jié)的單元內(nèi)容一般“縱向”自成體系,必要時(shí)可單獨(dú)使用,例如,強(qiáng)調(diào)社會(huì)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)常識(shí)方面的學(xué)習(xí),可但選第一章、第二章及第三章到第十六章各章中的第三部分,進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。 《社會(huì)與文化》為研究生(英語專業(yè)及非英語專業(yè))英語選修課程的系列教材之一。 但同時(shí)也適用于其他類型的教學(xué)使用,教學(xué)原則為: 英語專業(yè)研究生(含同等學(xué)歷英語專業(yè)研究生)——以課堂討論、短篇論文(presentation and paper writing)為主。 非英語專業(yè)研究生——以閱讀理解(reading comprehension)為主,依據(jù)學(xué)生水平,也可采取閱讀理解與課堂討論、短篇論文寫作(presentation and paper writing)相結(jié)合的方式。
作者簡介
寧洪,南開大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院翻譯系副教授。1975年赴馬耳化皇家大學(xué)留學(xué);1980年赴非洲援建田子;1980年赴非洲援建,任中國交通部贊比亞Mukuku路橋大隊(duì)英語翻譯。1997年赴美國Albany紐約州立大學(xué)進(jìn)修,學(xué)習(xí)、研究社會(huì)學(xué)文化課程?,F(xiàn)主要從事“美國文化研究(英語專業(yè)本科研究生)”、“當(dāng)代美國文化(英語專業(yè)本科)”、“大學(xué)英語應(yīng)試作文寫作(英語專業(yè)本科)”、英語口譯(英語專業(yè)本科)”、 “接續(xù)傳譯(英語翻譯系本科)”等課程的教學(xué)。
著有《美國文化閱讀教程》(編著,英文,2004,英語專業(yè)本科研究生跨文化交際課程教材)、《英語口譯教程》 (主編,2002,英語專業(yè)本科口譯課程教材)、《旅游英語》(副主編,1998,旅游專業(yè)本科英語閱讀教程教材)等1 0佘部教材及教學(xué)參考書。
