新實(shí)用英語(yǔ)視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教程

前言

　　為適應(yīng)目前高職高專英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的迫切需要，依據(jù)教育部高教司頒發(fā)的《高職高專教育英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)基本要求》（試行）（以下簡(jiǎn)稱為《基本要求》），我們組織專家學(xué)者和教學(xué)一線的教師編寫(xiě)了這套《新實(shí)用英語(yǔ)視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教程》。教程共上下兩冊(cè)，供高職高專非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的學(xué)生使用。本書(shū)為學(xué)生用書(shū)上冊(cè)。　　《基本要求》對(duì)聽(tīng)力的要求是：學(xué)生能聽(tīng)懂在日常和涉外業(yè)務(wù)活動(dòng)中使用的結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單、發(fā)音清楚、語(yǔ)速較慢（每分鐘120詞左右）的英語(yǔ)對(duì)話和陳述，并對(duì)這些內(nèi)容的理解基本正確。對(duì)口語(yǔ)的要求是學(xué)生能用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行一般的課堂交際，并能在日常和涉外業(yè)務(wù)活動(dòng)中進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的交流。本教程在設(shè)計(jì)和編寫(xiě)時(shí)盡可能地滿足上述要求?！　〗滩牡木帉?xiě)力求體現(xiàn)教學(xué)目標(biāo)、教學(xué)理念、教學(xué)原則和教學(xué)方法，達(dá)到教師和學(xué)生使用起來(lái)滿意等原則（劉潤(rùn)清，2003）。教材認(rèn)真設(shè)計(jì)每一單元的題材、功能、結(jié)構(gòu)和任務(wù)，力求能夠達(dá)到培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語(yǔ)言技能、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、情感態(tài)度、學(xué)習(xí)策略和文化意識(shí)的目的（梅德明，2008）。　　教材編寫(xiě)遵循“實(shí)用為主，夠用為度”的基本原則，突出了語(yǔ)言的交際功能，體現(xiàn)了中國(guó)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)的特色，注重內(nèi)容的實(shí)用性和適用性。教材還以第二語(yǔ)言習(xí)得的最新理論為依據(jù)，注重任務(wù)和活動(dòng)的策略性和開(kāi)放性。

So one day he asked God， “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow， but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless？”　　God replied， “Among the many angels， I chose one for you.
