內容概要

本書分為14個單元，每個單元介紹一種題材的文學作品，按照時間的順序先后進行編排。在體裁方面，這部教材以詩歌和小說為主，同時包括了新編童話故事和游記。同時，本書注重強化文學教學中的文化意識，通過每個單元的導讀、作者簡介和文學術語解釋等，介紹歷史與文化背景，幫助學生通過文學來了解和認識英國當代社會文化的發(fā)展變化。旨在幫助學生通過交際、交流的方法理解和欣賞文學作品，同時也達到提高英語水平、掌握高層次語言運用能力的目的。本教材主要適用于本科英語專業(yè)高年級學生，同時也適合準備參加相關專業(yè)研究生考試的讀者朋友。

作者簡介

王虹，廣東外語外貿大學副教授，碩士研究生導師，獲廣州外國語學院英語語言文學碩士學位、英國Warwick大學語言教學碩士學位、廣東外語外貿大學語言學應用語言學博士學位。主要從事英語語言文學教學、研究和教材編寫工作。所編教材《英國文學閱續(xù)與欣賞》由華南理工大學出版社
