內容概要

本書選用后殖民主義理論的視角，從三個層面對論題進行了研究：一是華人形象的文化再現(xiàn)，二是文化再現(xiàn)背后的電影話語機制，三是對這一時期的文化再現(xiàn)從學術研究的角度提出質疑。通過探討與論題密切相關的華人形象在美國主流文化中作為少數族話語、異國情調、邊緣性及他者的問題，作者旨在探討好萊塢電影文化中的再現(xiàn)出來的中美文化之間的沖突、矛盾以及融合，從而為兩種不同文化之間的交流和對話提供必要的前提和基礎。

作者簡介

李渝鳳，1970年生，博士、副教授、碩士研究生導師，任職于海南大學國際文化交流學院。中國譯協(xié)理事、海南省首批“515人才工程”人才。研究方向為外國文學、比較文化。
    已出版學術專著2部，譯著3部，發(fā)表論文20余篇。代表作有《雷切爾及其生存的憤怒》、《聲音·鏡子·女人》等。在研項目有“語言符碼與西方大眾傳媒研究”等。
