公安英語(yǔ)閱讀教程

內(nèi)容概要

近年來(lái)，隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的浪潮不斷高漲，國(guó)際交流日益頻繁，跨國(guó)犯罪也呈不斷上升趨勢(shì)，加強(qiáng)國(guó)際警察之間的交流和合作已勢(shì)在必行。英語(yǔ)作為一種交流工具，已成為高素質(zhì)的警務(wù)工作人員所必備的工具之一。而目前我國(guó)警務(wù)工作的相關(guān)的英語(yǔ)教材卻并不多見(jiàn)。為此我院組織編寫了《公安英語(yǔ)閱讀教程》一書(shū)，旨在幫助和提高廣大警務(wù)工作人員的英語(yǔ)實(shí)際應(yīng)用水平。本書(shū)既適用于公安院校的學(xué)生，也適用于有一定英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)的警務(wù)工作人員。本書(shū)以“讓公安機(jī)關(guān)滿意”為目標(biāo)，從實(shí)用角度出發(fā)，讓學(xué)生接觸大量與公安專業(yè)有關(guān)的英語(yǔ)文章，以增加他們的專業(yè)詞匯量，為他們今后順利閱讀和了解與本專業(yè)有關(guān)的英語(yǔ)文章、雜志及其他信息資料打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。本書(shū)題材廣泛，既注重常識(shí)性和時(shí)代性相結(jié)合，又關(guān)注相關(guān)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的最新信息和發(fā)展動(dòng)態(tài)。
