內容概要

　　《伊索寓言(插圖·中文導讀英文版)》是世界上最古老、最偉大的寓言故事集，被譽為西方寓言的鼻祖?！褒斖觅惻堋?、“狼來了”、“農(nóng)夫和蛇”、“蚊子和獅子”、“狐貍和山羊”、“狼和小羊”和“烏鴉喝水”等膾炙人口的故事伴隨了一代又一代人的美麗童年、少年直至成年。

　  獅子在睡覺時被老鼠弄醒，很生氣，就到處尋找老鼠。路過的狐貍就嘲笑獅子怕老鼠。獅子解釋是老鼠不懂禮貌，讓他很惱怒?！? Lion，fatigued by the heat of a summer'sday， fell fast asleep in his den。。 A Mouse ran over hismane and ears and woke him from his slumbers。 Herose up and shook himself in great wrath，andsearched every corner of his den to find the Mouse。 AFox seeing him said： “A fine Lion you are， to be frightened ofa Mouse。”“Tis not the Mouse I fear，” said the Lion， “I resent his familiarity andill-breeding。。”Little liberties are great offenses?！? 渡鴉認為天鵝的羽毛是天天在水里游泳洗白的。于是渡鴉離開覓食的祭壇，住到湖邊。它一有時間就清洗自己的羽毛，但它的羽毛終究沒有變白，反而因缺少食物餓死了?！?
