前言
《高級(jí)英語(yǔ)視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教程》(第二版)是為英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)高年級(jí)學(xué)生及相當(dāng)或以上水平的社會(huì)各界英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者編寫(xiě)的一套視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教材。它根據(jù)國(guó)家教育部頒發(fā)的《高等學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)高年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)大綱》的有關(guān)規(guī)定和要求,結(jié)合我國(guó)英語(yǔ)視、聽(tīng)、說(shuō)教學(xué)的特點(diǎn)和英語(yǔ)教學(xué)發(fā)展趨勢(shì)編寫(xiě)而成?! ≈袊?guó)在走向世界,高等教育也面臨著前所未有的挑戰(zhàn)。外語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)如何在原來(lái)重視語(yǔ)言微技能訓(xùn)練的教學(xué)模式基礎(chǔ)之上,使學(xué)生具備較高的認(rèn)知水平,從而更好地從事深度跨文化交流,乃至構(gòu)建國(guó)家“中介文化能力”(Intercultural Competence)是專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)教育必須解決的問(wèn)題。正是基于這種考慮,在修訂《高級(jí)英語(yǔ)視聽(tīng)說(shuō)教程》時(shí),我們本著向?qū)W科內(nèi)涵拓展,培養(yǎng)評(píng)判性思維能力的理念,在原有模式上,增加訓(xùn)練高級(jí)思維能力的練習(xí),目的是讓學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的同時(shí),拓寬視野,提升創(chuàng)造力。 培養(yǎng)評(píng)判性思維(critical thinking)能力是我們努力要做的事情。本世紀(jì)初,我國(guó)高等教育正在發(fā)生著從精英教育向大眾教育的轉(zhuǎn)換,此時(shí),美國(guó)政府把培養(yǎng)這種能力列入其教育目標(biāo)。相對(duì)而言,我們對(duì)“評(píng)判性思維”知之甚少。然而,信息時(shí)代通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)也同時(shí)向我們傳遞著這個(gè)概念。2005年從我系英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)三年級(jí)學(xué)生的學(xué)術(shù)論文寫(xiě)作課程中,這個(gè)概念第一次進(jìn)入我們的視線,并引導(dǎo)我們逐漸涉足這個(gè)領(lǐng)域。

And if civic competitiontouches every part of these cities policies, it is true to say thatarchitecture has taken pride of place. Architecture, andespecially urban designs has been the banner of cultural andpolitical renewal in a Spain freed from Fascisms, in a Germanyovercoming divisions, in a France experiencing its first socialistpresidency.
