前言

　　“經(jīng)貿英語”是專為高職高專英語教學所編寫的一本綜合性教材。本書遵循“高職高專教育英語課程教學基本要求”，本著高職教育“實用為主，夠用為度”的指導思想，著重培養(yǎng)學生的實際語言應用能力——常見經(jīng)貿文章的閱讀能力及常用經(jīng)貿文本的翻譯和寫作能力?！　「呗毟邔Ｓ⒄Z專業(yè)的學生最終需要掌握的實用技能包括口頭表達能力（聽力一口語一口譯）和書面表達能力（閱讀一寫作一翻譯）。本書主要針對高職高專學生的特點，以經(jīng)貿工作的實際需求作為出發(fā)點，集閱讀、寫作和翻譯為一體，全方位地訓練學生經(jīng)貿英語的閱讀能力和書面表達能力?！　♂槍Ω呗毟邔＝虒W目標，本教材有以下特點?！　?．編排獨特，難度適當　　每個單元的Bilingual Reading旨在介紹相關的背景知識并激發(fā)學生的學習興趣。考慮到直接閱讀專業(yè)英語文章對高職高專學生來說有一定難度，但用中文介紹背景知識又對學生學習英語幫助不大，所以本教材采用了雙語閱讀的形式，這種教學方法已在編者實際教學中進行了實踐并收到了良好效果?！　〗滩闹械姆g課前練習采用了“改寫翻譯”的間接翻譯形式，也是出于對高職高專學生直接翻譯有困難的考慮。練習原文大部分出自本院商務英語專業(yè)的學生作業(yè)（編者略加改動），其中的翻譯錯誤或不當之處均是學生使用英語過程中會遇到的常見問題。教師在授課時可針對原文與參考譯文的差別，循序漸進地引導學生擺脫中式英語，掌握地道的英文表達方法。
