前言

  《實(shí)用英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)》是為了滿(mǎn)足高職高專(zhuān)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)改革的需求,根據(jù)教育部頒發(fā)的《高職高專(zhuān)教育英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)基本要求》(以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)《基本要求》)編寫(xiě)而成。本教材供高職高專(zhuān)公共英語(yǔ)教學(xué)使用,同時(shí)也適用于意欲培養(yǎng)和提高英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)交際能力的具有一定英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)的自學(xué)者、專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)人員、出國(guó)人員以及涉外工作者?! ”緯?shū)在編寫(xiě)過(guò)程中,嚴(yán)格遵守《基本要求》中的“實(shí)用為主,夠用為度”原則,教學(xué)內(nèi)容新穎,突出學(xué)生實(shí)訓(xùn)演練和實(shí)際應(yīng)用?!  秾?shí)用英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)》全書(shū)分為兩個(gè)部分,每個(gè)部分十六個(gè)教學(xué)單元,全書(shū)原則上供一學(xué)年使用,也可根據(jù)各高職院校教學(xué)安排靈活使用。每個(gè)單元由下面八個(gè)部分組成?! ?.Lead-in通過(guò)一些有針對(duì)性和學(xué)生感興趣的問(wèn)題,導(dǎo)入單元主題,本書(shū)在導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)的特色是為學(xué)生列舉了一些慣用語(yǔ)和常用句型以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生正確、靈活地使用語(yǔ)言,同時(shí)培養(yǎng)他們的發(fā)散思維?! ?.Warm-UPActivities包括語(yǔ)音和閱讀兩部分,語(yǔ)音部分旨在強(qiáng)化學(xué)生的基本語(yǔ)音和語(yǔ)調(diào)知識(shí),并通過(guò)列舉和聽(tīng)讀一些相近的音素而更正學(xué)生易犯的讀音、重音和語(yǔ)調(diào)錯(cuò)誤,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)感。閱讀部分精選了一些與本單元內(nèi)容相關(guān)的短文或小故事,旨在使學(xué)生通過(guò)聽(tīng)讀領(lǐng)略讀的技巧,同時(shí)也可作為背誦資料?! ?.Dialogues由七個(gè)圍繞本單元主題的情景對(duì)話(huà)按照循序漸進(jìn)或?qū)υ?huà)的不同覆蓋面(題材)排列組成,旨在為學(xué)生提供廣泛的語(yǔ)言材料,并供教師有選擇地使用。

  Dialogue 2  Dad: Do you often recall our wedding?  Mom: Yeah, and our wedding photos always remind me of the exciting moment.  Dad: Sure. We looked so young at that time, right?  Morn: Well, but the pictures were black and white, and we seemed so outdated.  Dad: Come on, honey, there were our precious memories, although they can develop perfectphotos now.  Morn: The technology really gives the wedding pictures a new age.  Dad: I have an idea. Why dont we have some more photos taken?  Mom: Can we? But there is no photographer.  Dad: Thats not a problem. I heard there is a popular photo gallery on this beach.  Mom: Really? Lets get the children together.  Dialogue 3  A: Did you go back to your hometown to have a family reunion during the spring festivalvacation?  B: Yes, I did. My parents were only too glad to see me back home again.  A: What were you doing while you were together?  B: Well, first of all, I told them about what college life was like, how I felt about my studies,and how well I actually did in my lessons. And I was so glad to find that both my parents weregood listeners.  A: What else did you do then?  B: Then it was their turn to tell me all about the changes that had taken place in my familyand the town during the months of my absence. Thus we talked and talked without knowing thatmy vacation would soon be over.
