前言
本套叢書(shū)是由清華大學(xué)出版社和中國(guó)工程圖學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)圖學(xué)教育專業(yè)委員會(huì)共同策劃的?! ‰p語(yǔ)教學(xué)是近年來(lái)國(guó)內(nèi)高校的教學(xué)改革熱點(diǎn)之一,目前在數(shù)十所高校中已經(jīng)開(kāi)展了制圖課程的雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)?! 哪壳皣?guó)內(nèi)開(kāi)展雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)的高校使用的教材來(lái)看,大體上有以下幾種情況:①直接選用歐美原版教材;②中國(guó)的制圖教師根據(jù)我國(guó)的教學(xué)基本要求改編的原版教材,并以附錄的形式講解投影法和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)方面的差異;⑧中國(guó)的制圖教師編寫(xiě)的英文教材;④中國(guó)的制圖教師編寫(xiě)的中英文對(duì)照的雙語(yǔ)教材等。 為了給我國(guó)高校的制圖教師開(kāi)展雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)時(shí)提供更多的教材選擇,也為了使我國(guó)高校的廣大師生對(duì)美國(guó)制圖課程的現(xiàn)狀有更多的了解,清華大學(xué)出版社和中國(guó)工程圖學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)圖學(xué)教育專業(yè)委員會(huì)決定出版這套叢書(shū)。經(jīng)過(guò)編委會(huì)一年多的分析與研究,我們從數(shù)十本美國(guó)原版教材中選擇了6本構(gòu)成了本套叢書(shū),分別為機(jī)械類的制圖教材兩本,近機(jī)械類與非機(jī)械類的制圖教材兩本,CAD與計(jì)算機(jī)圖形學(xué)方面的教材兩本。需要說(shuō)明的是美國(guó)的制圖教材并未按照上述方式分類,所謂不同的類別是由本套叢書(shū)的編委會(huì)根據(jù)其內(nèi)容來(lái)確定的。 由于美國(guó)原版教材的內(nèi)容遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)多于我國(guó)同類教材的內(nèi)容,編委會(huì)根據(jù)我國(guó)的實(shí)際情況,以“教學(xué)基本要求”為依據(jù),對(duì)其內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了刪減,在這一過(guò)程中,未對(duì)原版教材作任何改寫(xiě),以保證其“原汁原味”的風(fēng)格。我們希望通過(guò)這種方法,給開(kāi)展制圖課雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)的院校提供一套既能保持原版教材風(fēng)貌,又符合我國(guó)實(shí)際情況的英語(yǔ)教材?! ∽詈?,清華大學(xué)出版社及本套叢書(shū)的編委會(huì)對(duì)積極提供樣書(shū)供編委會(huì)選擇的美國(guó)麥格勞.希爾公司和培生公司表示衷心的感謝,是他們的積極配合使得這套叢書(shū)得以順利出版?! ∠抻诟木幷叩乃剑瑫?shū)中不當(dāng)之處在所難免,歡迎廣大讀者批評(píng)指正。
