內(nèi)容概要

本書介紹操作系統(tǒng)的實踐和應(yīng)用。讀者對象是使用（而非設(shè)計）計算機，操作系統(tǒng)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)的人員。只要求讀者有適當?shù)挠嬎銠C基本概念，不要求有高深的數(shù)學(xué)知識和編程經(jīng)驗。與以前幾個版本相比，新版除在文字和內(nèi)容上作了修改外，增加了不少新的內(nèi)容，如：Windows 2000，Intel奔騰處理機體系結(jié)構(gòu)，C／S網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)，Novell Netware，Internet，UNIX/Linux等。因此全書內(nèi)容更和富，更加實用。全書共分5個部分：I.復(fù)習(xí)基本計算機概念，起到填平補齊的作用；II．介紹操作系統(tǒng)的基本主要概念；III．用戶和程序員與操作系統(tǒng)的通信，主要討論用戶接口、命令語言或作業(yè)控制語言，結(jié)合各種具體的操作系統(tǒng)講解MS－DOS，Windows 200O，UNIX/Linux，IBM的MVS／JCL等；IV.結(jié)合機器內(nèi)部，進一步討論上述各種操作系統(tǒng)；V.討論網(wǎng)絡(luò)，網(wǎng)絡(luò)操作系統(tǒng)，包括C／S網(wǎng)絡(luò)操作系統(tǒng)，Novell Netware， Windows 2000服務(wù)器，Internet。
