內(nèi)容概要

這是一本被美國許多著名院校廣泛采用的中級微觀經(jīng)濟學(xué)教材。它的第一個特點是內(nèi)容全面，既包括了微觀經(jīng)濟學(xué)的傳統(tǒng)內(nèi)容，如消費者行為與需求理論、生產(chǎn)者行為與供給理論、一般均衡理論等，又吸收了微觀經(jīng)濟學(xué)過去十幾年的最新研究成果，如博弈論、信息經(jīng)濟學(xué)等等。特別值得一提的是，第5版增加了有關(guān)拍賣理論的內(nèi)容，這在一般的微經(jīng)濟學(xué)教材中是不多見的。本書的第二個特點是內(nèi)容組織合理，敘述深入淺出，讀后使人受益菲淺。本書的第三個特點是理論密切聯(lián)系，書中穿插了100多個具體的案例分析，來幫助消化和理解經(jīng)濟學(xué)理論。本書的兩位作者又都是著名的計量經(jīng)濟學(xué)家，很多案例都取材于計量經(jīng)濟學(xué)研究論文的內(nèi)容，有理有據(jù)，這是本書的又一特點。各章末尾配備復(fù)習(xí)思考題和練習(xí)題，全書的最后還提供了部分練習(xí)題的答案。

    作者簡介：Robert S.Pindyck is the Mitsubishi Bank Professor In Economics and Finance in the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T He is also a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research,and a Fellow of the Econometric Society,and has been a Visiting Professor of Economics at Tel-Aviv University.He received his Ph.D.in Economics from M.I.T in 1971. Professor Pindyck's research and writing have covered a variety of topics in microeconomics and industuial organization,including the effects of uncertainty on firm behavior and market structure,determinants of market power,the behavior of natural resource,commodity,and financial markets,and criteria for investment decisions.He has been a consultant to a number of public and private organizations,and is currently co-editor of The Review of Economics and Statistics.He is also the co-author with Daniel Rubinfeld of Econometric Models and Economic Forecasts,a best-selling textbook that may or may not be turned into a feature film。
