本書作者所著的《多國(guó)營(yíng)銷管理》(1974)一書曾開(kāi)創(chuàng)國(guó)際市場(chǎng)營(yíng)

全書共分五部分十九章。分別講述概念及基本理論、營(yíng)銷環(huán)境、
市場(chǎng)分析、營(yíng)銷戰(zhàn)略和營(yíng)銷組合,把戰(zhàn)略性思想貫穿始終。并細(xì)致地
分析了跨國(guó)公司的動(dòng)態(tài)發(fā)展階段,對(duì)每一階段的各個(gè)方面都有相應(yīng)的
針對(duì)性論述。書中關(guān)于競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)和策略同盟的部分也很有特色,而最
后一部分將營(yíng)銷組合綜合考慮的方法無(wú)疑能引導(dǎo)讀者學(xué)會(huì)縱觀全局。
由于兼顧到理論與實(shí)際,本書既適合學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)也可用作實(shí)際工作
者的參考。但書中并沒(méi)有對(duì)操作細(xì)節(jié)的贅述,著重訓(xùn)練思維而不是面
向?qū)崉?wù),因?yàn)槟芫o密圍繞中心,結(jié)果與重點(diǎn)比較合理,避免了許多同類書籍頭緒太多而成為一盤散沙、組織不起來(lái)的缺點(diǎn)。雖然有所側(cè)重
,但并不妨礙全貌的完整。第五版比較以前各版更為全面和細(xì)致。為
了保持完整性,除新加章節(jié)外作者更對(duì)舊有章節(jié)進(jìn)行了全面改寫,加
上文字流暢,思路引人入勝,有一氣呵成之感。從某種意義上說(shuō),本
書代表了管理學(xué)者的國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)觀點(diǎn),而營(yíng)銷已經(jīng)被揉合在經(jīng)營(yíng)哲字
里面,所以才更深入、更生動(dòng)。
