內(nèi)容概要

　　《大學(xué)英語外報(bào)外刊閱讀教程(第二版)》是專門為大學(xué)非英語學(xué)生而選編的教材。它是一本英語報(bào)刊閱讀入門教材。第二版除保留了原教材中幾篇精華文章之外，絕大部分采用的是近幾年所刊登的文章。
這是一本“能力型”的教材。選材所堅(jiān)持的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是：題材覆蓋面廣、文章內(nèi)容典型、語言質(zhì)量上乘、知識(shí)含量豐富、使用時(shí)效較長(zhǎng)。
教材除保留一般英語報(bào)刊教材所設(shè)的“課文生詞“、“難點(diǎn)注釋“和“問題思考“欄目外，還增設(shè)了“知識(shí)介紹”、“語言簡(jiǎn)說”、“內(nèi)容分析”和“話題討論”四個(gè)欄目。
這是一本體現(xiàn)媒介素養(yǎng)教育理念的教材。為了幫助學(xué)生提高媒介素養(yǎng)（媒介知識(shí)、媒介應(yīng)用技能、信息解讀和價(jià)值觀鑒別能力），教材在“語言簡(jiǎn)說”欄目提供了西方常見報(bào)刊的簡(jiǎn)況，系統(tǒng)介紹了西方報(bào)刊版面與圖片的功能，網(wǎng)絡(luò)新聞特點(diǎn)和西方新聞報(bào)道中意識(shí)形態(tài)表現(xiàn)的形式。“內(nèi)容分析”和“話題討論”欄目力圖引導(dǎo)學(xué)生培養(yǎng)深層次的分析能力與作者觀點(diǎn)的剖析和批評(píng)能力。
