　　《超越的可能：作為知識(shí)分子的喬叟》從“知識(shí)分子”的視角，以知識(shí)分子的社會(huì)功能和智慧品質(zhì)為線(xiàn)索，將“英國(guó)詩(shī)歌之父”喬叟置于古今中外各種參照系里，結(jié)合文學(xué)文本分析和對(duì)中世紀(jì)英國(guó)社會(huì)、政治、性別和文化狀況的追溯，探討喬叟文學(xué)創(chuàng)作與歷史語(yǔ)境的互動(dòng)關(guān)系，解讀詩(shī)人文本策略的社會(huì)意義，揭示喬叟不僅具備廣義知識(shí)分子的博學(xué)和智慧，更在某種程度上，扮演了現(xiàn)代知識(shí)分子的社會(huì)批評(píng)者和大眾啟蒙者的角色，藉此論證喬叟具有超越其時(shí)代的現(xiàn)代性，反觀當(dāng)代知識(shí)分子研究的局限性。

作者簡(jiǎn)介

　　丁建寧 1967年生，華東師范大學(xué)文學(xué)博士?，F(xiàn)為南京師范大學(xué)外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院英語(yǔ)系副主任，副教授，碩士研究生導(dǎo)師。主要研究興趣為中世紀(jì)英語(yǔ)文學(xué)、英國(guó)現(xiàn)當(dāng)代文學(xué)和英語(yǔ)教育。
