內(nèi)容概要

　　《體育英語報(bào)刊選讀》是面向體育、師范院校的體育英語專業(yè)、傳媒專業(yè)及體育專業(yè)高年級(jí)學(xué)生的英語閱讀教材，亦適用于具有大學(xué)英語四級(jí)或相近水平的讀者和體育專業(yè)人士閱讀參考。　　《大學(xué)美英報(bào)刊教材系列：體育英語報(bào)刊選讀》文章廣泛選自英國、美國、加拿大及澳大利亞的報(bào)刊以及相應(yīng)報(bào)刊名下的網(wǎng)站。文章編選具有以下特點(diǎn)：　　一、精心選材。編者查閱了大量英文報(bào)刊，精選了當(dāng)代西方一些著名報(bào)刊如New York Times．Times，Sports Illustrated等的文章。選文內(nèi)容豐富，文字優(yōu)美，適宜反復(fù)閱讀。　　二、編排新穎?！洞髮W(xué)美英報(bào)刊教材系列：體育英語報(bào)刊選讀》所選文章分為五個(gè)部分，每一部分的十五篇文章均按由易到難的順序排列。為了方便讀者學(xué)習(xí)、理解原文，編者特為每篇文章撰寫了中文導(dǎo)讀，對(duì)文章內(nèi)容或背景做了簡(jiǎn)明扼要的介紹。每篇文章均附有與選文有關(guān)的背景知識(shí)和思考題，便于讀者進(jìn)一步理解和掌握文章的內(nèi)容，提高英語理解和表達(dá)能力。另外，文章最后列出了與選文有關(guān)的體育詞匯及短語，供讀者參考?！　∪?、注釋精當(dāng)。編者對(duì)選編的文章提供了準(zhǔn)確、詳盡的詞匯注釋，并對(duì)文章中出現(xiàn)的語言、人物和文化背景進(jìn)行了適當(dāng)解釋，對(duì)部分復(fù)雜句子還給出了譯文，既省卻了讀者翻檢詞典之勞，又豐富了讀者的文化知識(shí)。
