內(nèi)容概要

本書(shū)從語(yǔ)言比較和理論語(yǔ)言學(xué)的立場(chǎng)，闡述了什么是限定范疇，語(yǔ)言是如何表達(dá)限定范疇的。盡管從語(yǔ)用的層面講，限定是一個(gè)普遍的概念，但并不是所有的語(yǔ)言都有限定范疇；在許多語(yǔ)言中，它僅僅表現(xiàn)在代詞系統(tǒng)中；限定范疇有被人稱(chēng)范疇吞并的趨勢(shì)；所有格中也不天然地蘊(yùn)涵著限定關(guān)系。    本文作者搜集了大量的語(yǔ)言，考察其中的限定范疇以及相關(guān)的各種語(yǔ)法表現(xiàn)形式（例如指示語(yǔ)、所有格、人稱(chēng)代詞等），以及限定標(biāo)記的產(chǎn)生和演變。從當(dāng)代的語(yǔ)義學(xué)、語(yǔ)用學(xué)和句法學(xué)多層面展開(kāi)論述，有很多非常富有啟迪意義的發(fā)現(xiàn)。
