內(nèi)容概要

本教程是基于反復(fù)征詢學(xué)生對英語教材的要求及對英語技能的需求、編者多年來在教學(xué)方面的探索、對現(xiàn)有教材的分析和討論以及認真考慮眾多從事研究生教學(xué)的一線教師的建議編寫而成的。編寫的宗旨在于使本教程在針對性、適應(yīng)性、實用性和前瞻性上都有較強的、不同程度的體現(xiàn)。因此，在編寫過程中，對于課文題材與內(nèi)容的篩選，對于讀、寫、譯技巧的選擇，對于練習(xí)內(nèi)容的考慮都是本著使學(xué)生在研究生階段能夠在英語知識的獲取與運用兩方面相輔相成、有機互補的原則。尤其是在運用外語知識進行國際交流與獲取專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)所需最新信息的能力上使學(xué)生能夠有一定程度的提高，使其更好地適應(yīng)社會，服務(wù)社會，在一定程度上滿足社會的需求。本教程不僅在內(nèi)容上力求使研究生獲取較為全面的知識和技能，在編寫上也能夠考慮到教與學(xué)的需求，將研究生必須掌握的文獻閱讀、寫作、翻譯三種技巧融合在同一本教材中，既滿足了學(xué)生的需要，也便利了教師的教學(xué)。
