當(dāng)代世界經(jīng)濟(jì)

前言

世界經(jīng)濟(jì)課程是目前國(guó)內(nèi)各高校經(jīng)濟(jì)類(lèi)學(xué)科的一門(mén)重要課程。目前世界經(jīng)濟(jì)教材從體系上講有兩種類(lèi)型，一類(lèi)是以國(guó)外的國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)為主要內(nèi)容，包括國(guó)際貿(mào)易和國(guó)際金融兩部分；另一類(lèi)是國(guó)內(nèi)體系。由于國(guó)內(nèi)的學(xué)科分類(lèi)將國(guó)際貿(mào)易與國(guó)際金融分為兩個(gè)不同的專(zhuān)業(yè)，因此世界經(jīng)濟(jì)國(guó)內(nèi)體系希望能與國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)講授的內(nèi)容有所不同，形成自己獨(dú)立的體系和特色。本教材即是在這樣的考慮下，抓住當(dāng)代世界經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展中經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化這一主線，既從全球的角度又從區(qū)域、國(guó)家和企業(yè)的角度考察在經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化  背景下世界經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和變化的規(guī)律。本教材還在教法上注重對(duì)學(xué)生主動(dòng)性、創(chuàng)造性和實(shí)踐性學(xué)習(xí)的培養(yǎng)，形成了在教材內(nèi)容和教學(xué)方法上的特色，具  體說(shuō)來(lái)主要特色如下。在教材體系安排上以經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化為貫穿全書(shū)的主線，重點(diǎn)突出經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的特點(diǎn)、發(fā)展脈絡(luò)；對(duì)區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)和企業(yè)的影響，主要包括：當(dāng)代世界經(jīng)濟(jì)與發(fā)展歷程、世界經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的推動(dòng)力、經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化時(shí)代、區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化、貿(mào)易自由化——經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的先驅(qū)、金融全球化、經(jīng)濟(jì)可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)的挑戰(zhàn)、國(guó)際合作與協(xié)調(diào)、經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化中的世界可過(guò)經(jīng)濟(jì)和中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)改革及其與世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的融合。

內(nèi)容概要

在教材體系安排上以經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化為貫穿全書(shū)的主線，重點(diǎn)突出經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的特點(diǎn)、發(fā)展脈絡(luò)；對(duì)區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)和企業(yè)的影響，主要包括：當(dāng)代世界經(jīng)濟(jì)與發(fā)展歷程、世界經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的推動(dòng)力、經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化時(shí)代、區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化、貿(mào)易自由化——經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的先驅(qū)、金融全球化、經(jīng)濟(jì)可持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)的挑戰(zhàn)、國(guó)際合作與協(xié)調(diào)、經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化中的世界各國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)改革及其與世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的融合。教材內(nèi)容緊跟當(dāng)前世界經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的最新事件，采用最新的統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)?！　榱诉_(dá)到培養(yǎng)國(guó)際化復(fù)合型人才的目的，本教材有中英文對(duì)照兩個(gè)版本，其中，英文版本將是我國(guó)首部用英語(yǔ)編寫(xiě)的國(guó)內(nèi)體系的世界經(jīng)濟(jì)教材。使用英語(yǔ)教學(xué)可以使學(xué)生大大提高應(yīng)用英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)濟(jì)課程的能力，為今后從事國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)事務(wù)做準(zhǔn)備。為了方便學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)，英文版本課文中對(duì)較難的詞、句進(jìn)行了中文注釋?zhuān)⒃诿空潞竺娓接兄形牡谋菊滦〗Y(jié)，同時(shí)還有一本中文對(duì)照翻譯版本。　　本教材適用于經(jīng)濟(jì)類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)研究生、本科生的學(xué)習(xí)，并經(jīng)過(guò)8輪課堂試講，受到學(xué)生的好評(píng)。

插圖：Problems and Challenges In the process of the world economic development，therehave been all sorts of formidable problems undermining the healthy development of theworld economy.In today’S world，the environmental problems，poverty，fatal pandemicdiseases，desertification etc.have been the major threat to the people of all nations.To recognize the economic implication of the challenges to the people'S well being and tofind effective measures to address the problems are the important tasks of the course.1.1.3 The Three Elements of the World EconomyPeople People are the controlling force of the world economy.The reason why people can take the controlling position in the world economy is largely attributed to its dual features：one is the people as a basic production factor and the other is the people as the consumer.For surviving purpose and higher level of satisfaction of various de-mands，human labor，a basic input of production，makes the production possible by its WOrking on the natural resources with certain skills；while on the other hand，people keep consuming those products，demanding for more products and coming up with new consumption desires.Human being'S increasing desire for better life drives it to work harder and has be-come the most dynamic force behind the economic development.Thus the development of the world economy is hand in hand with the growing number of the human popula-tion.The sustainability of the economic development depends on the balance betweenthe growing size of the population.ecological environment and the natural resources.For centuries，the growth rate of human population was slower than required by a fast economic development；therefore the expansion of the world economy was restrained as a resuit.However，in the last tWO centuries，the number of human population has in-creased at an unprecedented speed，which is demonstrated by the shorter and shorter period required for doubling time of total population.Doubling time，as the name sug一.gests，is a measure of how long it will take the population of an area to grow to twice its current size.For example，a country whose population increases at 1.8％per year will have doubled in about 40 years.
