前言
隨著我國(guó)國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)的迅速發(fā)展和人民生活水平的不斷提高,旅游日漸成為大眾越來越樂意選擇的一種休閑娛樂方式。其地位的提升和巨大的社會(huì)需求將成為推動(dòng)旅游職業(yè)教育發(fā)展的重要力量。自十六大以來,黨中央提出了科學(xué)發(fā)展觀,明確了以人為本的理念,著力調(diào)整了多年以來以GDP增長(zhǎng)為導(dǎo)向的發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略,開始從國(guó)計(jì)到民生的轉(zhuǎn)變。而旅游恰恰就是民生的重要組成部分。在從重視國(guó)計(jì)轉(zhuǎn)向重視民生的過程中,旅游的地位的進(jìn)一步提高,必將推動(dòng)旅游職業(yè)教育的快速發(fā)展。如果考慮到旅游與休閑之間的融合前景,考慮到整個(gè)休閑體系的發(fā)展與完善,以及對(duì)高素質(zhì)專門人才的需求,我們可以預(yù)言:未來若干年內(nèi),旅游職業(yè)教育的發(fā)展前景將無(wú)比光明。根據(jù)國(guó)家旅游局的統(tǒng)計(jì),到2004年底,全國(guó)已擁有旅游院校1313所,且各個(gè)?。ㄗ灾螀^(qū)、直轄市)許多高等學(xué)校都開設(shè)了旅游類專業(yè),在校學(xué)生達(dá)57.86萬(wàn)人。如果僅僅從規(guī)模和數(shù)量上看,這大體能夠適應(yīng)我國(guó)旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀,但若從專業(yè)細(xì)化角度看,我們現(xiàn)在的旅游教育顯然還無(wú)法滿足旅游業(yè)發(fā)展變化的需要,尤其無(wú)法滿足休閑產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的需要,而休閑需求將是旅游業(yè)未來重要的發(fā)展方向。假如有一批經(jīng)過專業(yè)化教育的高職畢業(yè)生進(jìn)入酒吧、咖啡屋等休閑企業(yè),那么整個(gè)城市休閑體系的人員素質(zhì)就會(huì)大幅度提高,休閑產(chǎn)業(yè)集群自然也就形成了,專業(yè)設(shè)置的回旋余地自然也就更大了。因此,旅游管理專業(yè)應(yīng)該少搞些大而化之、籠而統(tǒng)之的課程,而是應(yīng)該根據(jù)實(shí)際需要細(xì)化課程設(shè)置。采取市場(chǎng)需求擴(kuò)大了就多培養(yǎng),需求減少就少培養(yǎng)的方針。實(shí)際上,旅游院校的實(shí)質(zhì)就是提供旅游教育產(chǎn)品的供應(yīng)商,需要研究生產(chǎn)什么、生產(chǎn)多少、怎么生產(chǎn)、為誰(shuí)生產(chǎn)等基本問題。旅游職業(yè)教育同樣面臨著這樣的問題,同樣需要不斷提高培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量,強(qiáng)化培養(yǎng)途徑。在這兩個(gè)層面上我們還有很長(zhǎng)的路要走。一方面,中國(guó)要從旅游大國(guó)真正變成旅游強(qiáng)國(guó),必須具備相應(yīng)的人才競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力。

Day 11. In the late morning, we board aflight to the famous city of Xi'an. After lunch,we will rent local bicycles and take a ride on thecity wall of Xi'an, which was constructed some600 years ago in the Ming Dynasty and which isthe only intact city wall in China. Before dinner,we will enjoy a walk in the Muslim quarter, andvisit the beautiful square Bell Tower and its companion Drum Tower. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner of Shan'xistyle dumplings, a specialty here. Our Xi'an hotel will be 3star level(4and 5star hotels are available as options).Day 12: Xi'an is famous for its terracottasoldiers, so we will drive to the Terracotta ArmyMuseum in the morning. In the afternoon, wewill visit the Shan'xi Provincial History Museurn. This museum contains treasures excavatedfrom the Xi'an region. After dinner, we check infor our flight to Beijing. Our three nights in Beijing will be spent in a 3star hotel (4and 5starhotels are available as options).Day 13. Today, we tour Beijing by bicycleusing the same Chinese bicycles the locals use.We ride through hutongs (胡同) in Beijing'spreserved historic districts and we visit manywellknown sites, including the Temple of Heaven, Tian'anmen Square, and the Forbidden City.For dinner, we will enjoy a real treat. PekingDuck at an old and wellknown restaurant,where they carve the delicious crisp duck skin into exactly 108 pieces.
