　　《普通高等教育十一五國(guó)家級(jí)規(guī)劃教材·大學(xué)專業(yè)英語(yǔ)系列教材：人文科學(xué)專業(yè)英語(yǔ)教程（第2版下）》有以下特點(diǎn)：　　一、按照人文學(xué)科特點(diǎn)，上冊(cè)共涵蓋四大學(xué)科領(lǐng)域：哲學(xué)、歷史學(xué)、宗教學(xué)和文學(xué)，下冊(cè)涵蓋社會(huì)學(xué)、文化學(xué)、語(yǔ)言學(xué)和新聞學(xué)四個(gè)領(lǐng)域?！　《?、考慮到我國(guó)大學(xué)生學(xué)完兩年大學(xué)英語(yǔ)后所達(dá)到的實(shí)際水平，課文的選材、注釋和練習(xí)基本上都以《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》的“一般要求”為基礎(chǔ)?！　∪?、每?jī)?cè)教材涉及的四個(gè)領(lǐng)域按上文提到的順序依次循環(huán)排列，每?jī)?cè)循環(huán)三次，形成十二單元——即：哲學(xué)、歷史學(xué)、宗教學(xué)、文學(xué)；哲學(xué)、歷史學(xué)、宗教學(xué)、文學(xué)……這種安排主要是便于我們貫徹教材在選材難度上的循序漸進(jìn)原則?！　∷摹闹R(shí)的角度，我們也注意到了知識(shí)的循序漸進(jìn)性，因此，涉及某個(gè)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的第一個(gè)單元基本上只涉及這個(gè)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域里的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和基本原理?！　∥?、考慮到《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)質(zhì)和量上的要求，我們采用“主、副”課文制：對(duì)主要課文從注解和練習(xí)兩個(gè)方面都進(jìn)行了重點(diǎn)處理，用作教師課堂內(nèi)重點(diǎn)講解的內(nèi)容；副課文主要供學(xué)生課后自學(xué)，以便對(duì)課文從語(yǔ)言和知識(shí)兩方面起到鞏固作用?！　×⒈窘滩膹?qiáng)調(diào)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確理解文章內(nèi)容的能力，相應(yīng)地，每單元三篇文章都配有閱讀理解練習(xí)。
