內容概要

這是一本全面介紹無線移動通信基礎知識以及最新技術發(fā)展狀況的教材。第1章為介紹性內容，講述移動通信的歷史以及后續(xù)各章的描述。其后的內容可分為兩大部分，第一部分包括第2章到第8章。第2章講述在無線介質中遇到的傳播現(xiàn)象，第3章介紹蜂窩的概念，第4章到第7章討論了功率控制、調制、編碼以及接入技術，第8章對第二代系統(tǒng)——GSM、IS-95、IS-136以及D-AMPS提供了詳細的討論。第二部分包括第9章到第12章。第9章探討了無線系統(tǒng)的性能分析，第10章對第三代系統(tǒng)——W-CDMA、CDMA2000以及GPRS進行了深入的描述，第11章討論了在蜂窩系統(tǒng)中提出和使用的接入和調度技術。最后全書以對無線局域網(wǎng)（WLAN）和個人區(qū)域網(wǎng)（PAN）的討論作為結束。     本書適合作為大學本科高年級或研究生一年級無線通信的入門課程，也可作為工程師、計算機專家以及其他技術人員的參考材料。

作者簡介

Mischa Schwartz從1974年開始在美國哥倫比亞大學電子工程系任職，現(xiàn)在是Charles Batchelor名譽教授。他編寫或合作編寫了9本著作，本中包括通信系統(tǒng)和計算機網(wǎng)絡方面的暢銷書。他現(xiàn)在的研究方向是無線網(wǎng)絡。Schwartz教授是美國國家工程學會成員，IEEE會員和前理事，IEEE通
