內(nèi)容概要

《中等職業(yè)教育規(guī)劃教材——基礎(chǔ)英語》是依照教育部頒發(fā)的最新《中等職業(yè)學(xué)校英語教學(xué)大綱（試行）》（以下稱“大綱”）的目標(biāo)要求，并針對中職中專英語教學(xué)的特點和目前各省市的教學(xué)實際情況進行編寫而成的。    本套教材注重素質(zhì)教育的推行和學(xué)生英語交際能力的培養(yǎng)，充分考慮中職學(xué)生的現(xiàn)狀、特點和發(fā)展需要，以話題為主線，精心選材、精心編寫，盡力做到編適于學(xué)、編便于教。    本套教材覆蓋了“大綱”的全部語法項目、交際功能項目和約90％的“大綱”基本要求的詞匯項目。學(xué)完本套教材三冊后，將能達到“大綱”規(guī)定的基本要求。    本書為《基礎(chǔ)英語1練習(xí)冊》，配套外文社版《基礎(chǔ)英語1》教材使用。所有的練習(xí)與教材同步，與教材各單元的教學(xué)點和學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容相呼應(yīng)，全面練習(xí)聽、說、讀、寫等言語技能及詞匯、語法等語言知識。選材注意體現(xiàn)時代特色和職業(yè)教育特色，共分為Speaking、Vocabulary、Grammar、Reading、Writing等五大部分。    學(xué)生用書版塊介紹：    Speaking：    圍繞本單元交際功能，以對話問答形式，讓學(xué)生交互進行簡單的口語練習(xí)。鍛煉學(xué)生的聽說能力，學(xué)習(xí)本單元的交際功能，調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。    Vocabulary：    采取多種題目形式，針對本單元的詞匯項目進行鞏固練習(xí)，積累和鞏固詞匯量。    Grammar：    采取多種題目形式，針對本單元的語法項目進行鞏固練習(xí)，積累和鞏固語法知識。    Reading：        文章圍繞本單元話題，選材生動豐富，富有時代感，貼近生活，符合讀者對象的年齡特點。內(nèi)容知識性、邏輯性、連貫性強，內(nèi)容新穎，生動有趣。文章主要介紹世界各地的風(fēng)俗文化、歷史地理、生活習(xí)慣等。豐富的閱讀形式，不僅能擴充學(xué)生的詞匯量，而且有助于提高學(xué)生的閱讀技能和閱讀水平。    Writing:    采取多種題目形式，針對本單元的詞匯和語法項目進行鞏固練習(xí)，為學(xué)生提供練習(xí)寫技能的機會。    本叢書由中等職業(yè)教育規(guī)劃教材編寫組編寫，并且邀請了外籍專家審閱。他們提出了寶貴和建議，在此也向他們表示衷心的謝意。    由于編者時間及精力有限，書中難免出現(xiàn)問題和紕漏，懇請您提出批評意見和建議。

When the family is large, one of the cars is sold and they will buy a van.A small car can hold four persons and a large car can hold six persons, but it is very crowded. A van hold seven persons easily, so a family with three children could ask their grandparents to go on a holiday travel. They could all travel together.Mr. Hagen and his wife had a third child last year. This made them sell a second car and buy a van. The sixth and seventh seats are used to put other things, for a family of five must carry many suitcases when they travel.Americans call vans motor homes. A motor home is always used for holidays. When a family are traveling to the mountains or to the seaside, they can live in their motor home for a few days. All the members of a big family can enjoy a happier holiday when they are traveling together. That is why motor homes have become very popular, in America there are many parks for motor homes.
