內(nèi)容概要

本書收集了有關(guān)火炮武器的英文技術(shù)文獻(xiàn)，內(nèi)容涉及火炮的基本知識、結(jié)構(gòu)組成，典型火炮介紹，設(shè)計理論和新近的技術(shù)進(jìn)展等。
本書共分16個單元。其中，第1單元至第4單元為火炮的基本知識介紹，第5單元至第8單元為炮身設(shè)計的內(nèi)容，第9單元至第12單元為炮架與反后坐裝置的內(nèi)容，第13單元至第16單元為火炮新技術(shù)的介紹，各單元中的閱讀材料為典型火炮、專門知識和歷史發(fā)展的內(nèi)容。
本書可供武器系統(tǒng)與發(fā)射工程專業(yè)及相近專業(yè)高年級本科生學(xué)習(xí)使用，也可作為相關(guān)工程技術(shù)人員的參考資料。

版權(quán)頁：插圖：The use of the word cannon marks the introduction in the 15th century of a dedicatedfield carriage with axle, trail and animal-drawn limber——-this produced mobile field pieces thatcould move and support an army in action, rather than being found only in siege and staticdefenses. The reduction in the size of the barrel was due to improvements in both iron tech-nology and gunpowder manufacture. The first mobile weapon is usually credited to Jan Ziz-ka, who deployed his oxen-hauled cannon during the Hussite Wars of Bohemia （1418-1424）.However cannon were still large and cumbersome. With the rise of musketry in the 16th cen-tury cannon were largely displaced from the battlefield——the cannon were too slow and cum-bersome to be used and too easily lost to a rapid enemy advance.
