版權(quán)頁: The Chinese Human Organ Donation Committee, the highest governing body of the Chinese human organ donation system, was jointly constructed by the Red Cross Society of China and the Ministry of Health whose key responsibilities were to examine and decide construction plans, programs and other major work for the Chinese human organ donation system, supervise and guide donation work done by the Chinese Office of Human Organ Donation, the China Organ Donation Expert Committee, the China Organ Procurement Organization and provincial human organ donation organizations and coordinate with national ministries and committees concerned for the support to the work of human organ donation. The Chinese Human Organ Donation Committee consisted of the Chinese Office of Human Organ Donation, the China Organ Donation Expert Committee and the China OrganProcurement Organization. The Chinese Office of Human Organ Donation, a working organ under the Chinese Human Organ Donation Committee, was located in the Relief Aid Department of the Red Cross Society of China and responsible for national propaganda and mobilization for human organ donation; organization and management of teams of volunteers and coordinators of human organ donation; organization of training for the personnel of human organ donation and transplantation on the fundamental knowledge about the movements of the Red Cross Society, humanistic concern and social psychology;establishment and maintenance of registration and management systems for human organ donators; witness to organ donation; acceptance of governments' allocation and social donation and establishment and management of donation funds; establishment of incentive and aiding mechanisms and offering of aid to the needy relatives of donators; commemoration of organ donators; commendation of outstanding units and individuals; coordination with the China Organ Donation Expert Committee and the China Organ Procurement Organization in the work and supervision and guidanceon the work of provinaal offices of human organ donation. During the pilot period,documents issued in the name of the Chinese Office of Human Organ Donation were temporarily sealed by the Relief Aid Department of the Red Cross Society of China.
