內(nèi)容概要

《中醫(yī)臨床實(shí)用系列:男性不育與女性不孕(英語(yǔ)版)》內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:This book is an important component text in the series The Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine. Infertility is a condition that seriously impacts the quality of life for many families, and recent studies suggest that Chinese medicine may effectively increase conception rates. The intention of this book is to offer complementary treatment approaches for both male and female infertility.
Most of the cases of infertility successfully treated in China do not rely on techniques such as in vitro fertilization, which are quite expensive and have only a modest rate of success. On the other hand, by combining these methods with acupuncture and Chinese medicinal therapy, infertility can be effectively treated in most cases. An integrative approach to treatment can reduce pharmaceutical side effects, and also shorten the course of treatment.
Disorders associated with female infertility were first recorded in the Chinese medica literature as early as 2000 years ago. By providing the time-honored clinical methods of Chinese traditional medicine, this text will undoubtedly benefit the reproductive health of many patients.

章節(jié)摘錄

版權(quán)頁(yè):插圖:In Chinese medicine, this condition usually involves several internal organs, generally including the kidney, liver, heart, and spleen. However, this disorder is mainly associated with the kidney because of its function of storing essence and governing reproduction. When kidney qi is exuberant and the genuine yin is also sufficient, tiangui will arrive. If a healthy man and woman have sexual intercourse at this time, conception will occur.Congenital deficiency, kidney qi deficiency, and depletion of the life gate fire often result in male sexual dysfunction. Impotence, insufficient erection, or weak ejaculation often occurs due to deficiency of yang qi. Sexual intemperance damages the kidney, often resulting in thin semen with low sperm counts. Prolonged or untreated illnesses can damage yin and exhaust both essence and blood. Hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency leads to seminal emission, night sweats, and thick sticky semen. All of these patterns can eventually lead to male infertility.
