內(nèi)容概要

自20世紀90年代末以來，我國高等?？平逃?、高等職業(yè)教育飛快地發(fā)展著。各地高職高專紛紛掛牌成立。為了適應(yīng)這一大好形勢，適應(yīng)社會主義經(jīng)濟發(fā)展對高職高專提出的更高要求，衛(wèi)生部教材辦公室于2003年4月在山東省淄博市召開了一次教材編寫會議，決定出版一套全國高職高專教育衛(wèi)生部規(guī)劃教材（約30個學科）。這本英語教材就是其中的一種。奉英語教材分上下兩冊，共50個單元。上冊24個單元，下冊26個單元，學完上下兩冊約需250個學時。上冊每單元由五個部分組成，即課文A、課文B、技能訓練、語法知識、會話，內(nèi)容主要以日常社會生活為主；下冊每單元為五個部分組成，即課文A、課文B、技能訓練、寫作、會話，內(nèi)容主要以醫(yī)學科普為主。　　本教材強調(diào)培養(yǎng)學生的實際運用能力，突出基本原理、基礎(chǔ)知識、基本技能，以夠用為度。在編寫過程中，盡量做到注意教材的實用性、先進性、多樣性，以至適合不同程度的學生。
