《醫(yī)學專業(yè)英語》是根據(jù)教育部對中等職業(yè)教育教學改革及教學計劃的有關精神,按照人民衛(wèi)生出版社2001年7月出版的中等職業(yè)學校醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生類專業(yè)《教學計劃和教學大綱匯編》對《醫(yī)學專業(yè)英語》的要求,與全國中等衛(wèi)生學校規(guī)劃教材《英語》銜接,在以培養(yǎng)全面素質為基礎,力求體現(xiàn)以能力為本位和培養(yǎng)職業(yè)能力為主的指導思想的前提下,由衛(wèi)生部教材辦公室統(tǒng)一規(guī)劃并組織編寫的。 本書采用“以學生為中心的主題教學模式”編寫,在體裁、內容和編排等方面與傳統(tǒng)的醫(yī)學教材有所不同,體現(xiàn)了醫(yī)學英語的特點,重點強調對學生醫(yī)學英語應用能力的培養(yǎng)。全書共設15個教學單元,圍繞主題進行選材,內容涉及醫(yī)學科普、保健、臨床、護理等多個方面,并附有臨床檢查、化驗、護理記錄等醫(yī)學報告和文件的解析,以幫助解決醫(yī)學生在臨床實踐中遇到的實際困難。 本教材的每個單元均由三個部分組成:語言準備(Preparation)、閱讀(Reading-Centcrcd Activities)、鞏固與提高(Furthcr Development)。語言準備部分旨在做好課前的語言鋪墊及導人的基礎上,激發(fā)學生對本單元的學習興趣,使之進入積極主動的學習狀態(tài)。閱讀部分包括課內閱讀1篇,課外閱讀2篇,以期達到課內外閱讀相結合,擴充學生醫(yī)學詞匯量,提高其自學能力和閱讀能力的目的。鞏固與提高部分是在學生學完語言準備及閱讀部分的所有文章后進行的,此時,學生已掌握了一定數(shù)量的與專業(yè)密切相關的醫(yī)學專業(yè)詞匯,鼓勵學生積極主動地參與到以單元主題內容為依據(jù)的語言應用實踐,即在“以學生為中心的主題教學模式”中使其學習的主觀能動性得以發(fā)掘和發(fā)揮,充分體現(xiàn)其主體地位和作用,以達到學以致用。 本教材建議使用80學時,每單元5學時,供醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生類各專業(yè)英語教學使用,教師可根據(jù)不同專業(yè)、不同學制的要求,酌情決定取舍,靈活組織教學。同時,也可供相應水平從事臨床醫(yī)學各科醫(yī)務人員自修之用。 為便于廣大師生使用,本教材分為上、下兩冊。本書為上冊,主要包括15個單元、附錄、詞匯表等;下冊主要提供教材上冊的客觀題的答案、主觀題的答案實例以及參考譯文,以方便課堂教學及學生自學。 本教材在編寫過程中,得到了鄭州市衛(wèi)生學校英語教研室全體教師、教務科、普通教學部等科室的鼎力支持和無私奉獻;全書的文字輸入、表格制作等由英語教研室曹新樁老師承擔;閱讀部分的文章特邀英國語言專家Mike Winkworth和英語語言文學博士Stephen Maynard審校。對上述提及各位,在此謹表誠摯的謝意。 限于編者的水平,書中疏忽、闕漏及不妥之處在所難免,敬請斧正,是為至幸!
