汽車商貿(mào)英語

前言

　　為了適應(yīng)并推動高等職業(yè)技術(shù)教育的發(fā)展，落實交通部科教司《高職高專專業(yè)教材建設(shè)規(guī)劃方案意見》（高[1999]171號文件）精神，在交通部科教司領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，交通高職教育工作委員會組織編寫了汽車檢測與維修、汽車運用技術(shù)、汽車運用工程等相關(guān)專業(yè)用高職高專統(tǒng)編教材。為此，我們編寫了這本汽車商貿(mào)英語教材。本書可作為高職教育汽車技術(shù)服務(wù)與營銷專業(yè)的英語教材，也可供欲從事汽車營銷工作的相關(guān)專業(yè)人員進(jìn)行培訓(xùn)之用。　　本書分為兩個部分，共13單元。第一部分是汽車發(fā)動機與底盤構(gòu)造，分為2單元，講述了汽車發(fā)動機及底盤的主要組成與結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分為汽車商貿(mào)英語的核心內(nèi)容，分為11單元，講述在汽車營銷領(lǐng)域開展業(yè)務(wù)的幾個方面，主要圍繞詢價、產(chǎn)品介紹、談判、分期付款、裝運、保險、辦證、售后服務(wù)、代理、合同、申訴及索賠。本書材料選自國外的專業(yè)書刊、修理企業(yè)的外文資料、國內(nèi)各大院校的汽車專業(yè)英語教材、各大院校的商貿(mào)類英語教材、網(wǎng)上有關(guān)介紹商貿(mào)英語的最新資料及國內(nèi)一些相關(guān)刊物。為便于學(xué)習(xí)，本書在課后都附有詞匯表、重點和難點句子的注釋、常用句介紹及課后練習(xí)?！　”緯烧憬煌殬I(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院王恰民教授、博士主編，邊浩毅副主編。本書第三單元、第四單元、第七單元、第八單元、第十單元由王怡民編寫，第五單元、第六單元、第九單元、第十一單元、第十二單元、第十三單元由邊浩毅編寫，第一單元、第二單元由馬林才編寫?！　”緯蓪幉ǜ叩葘？茖W(xué)校李維維編審主審，由張美田擔(dān)任責(zé)任編委?！　”緯诰帉戇^程中得到了四川交通職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院魏慶曜、河北交通職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院劉振樓等人的大力支持，還得到了浙江交通職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院陳文華的協(xié)助，在此一并表示感謝。由于編寫時間緊迫，經(jīng)驗不足，水平有限，缺點錯誤在所難免，懇請廣大師生和讀者批評指正。

　　The engine manufacturer fits a piston into each cylinder 0f the engine. The piston is amovable part or plug that receives the pressure from the burning air/fuel mixture and con-verts this pressure into reciprocating （up-and-down） motion. Manufacturers make m0St en-gine pistons from aluminum, which is less than half the weight of iron. Iron pistonswerecommon in early automotive engines.Piston Rings　　Some operating clearance must exist between the piston and the cylinder wall; however,some form of seal is necessary between the piston and the cylinder wall to prevent blowby.Blowby describes the escape of unburned and burned gases from the combustion chamber,past the piston, and into the crankcase. The manufacturer cannot fit a piston to a cylinderclose enough to prevent blowby. Consequently, piston rings are used to provide the necessa-ry seal to eliminate blowby and to control oil consumption.Automotive pistons have twokinds of rings: compression and oil control. The compression rings primarily seal against theloss of air/fuel mixture as the piston compresses it and also the combustion pressure as themixture burns. While the function of the oil control ring is to prevent excessive amounts ofoil from working up into the combustion chamber.Connecting Rods　　As mentioned earlier, the piston moves up and down in the cylinder, in a reciprocatingmotion. In order to rotate the drive wheels, a connecting rod and crankshaft must change re-ciprocating motion to rotary. The connecting rod itself attaches at one end to the piston andon the other end to the crankpin section of the crankshaft.
