前言

　　經(jīng)過幾十年的探索，外語教學(xué)界許多人認(rèn)為，工科院校外語教學(xué)的主要目的，應(yīng)該是：“使學(xué)生能夠利用外語這個(gè)工具，通過閱讀去獲取國外的與本專業(yè)有關(guān)的科技信息。”這既是我們建設(shè)有中國特色的社會(huì)主義的客觀需要，也是在當(dāng)前條件下工科院校外語教學(xué)可能完成的最高目標(biāo)。事實(shí)上，教學(xué)大綱規(guī)定要使學(xué)生具有“較強(qiáng)”的閱讀能力，而對(duì)其他方面的能力只有“一般”要求，就是這個(gè)意思?！　〈髮W(xué)本科的一、二年級(jí)，為外語教學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)階段。就英語來說，這個(gè)階段要求掌握的詞匯量為2400個(gè)（去掉遺忘，平均每個(gè)課時(shí)10個(gè)單詞）。加上中學(xué)階段已經(jīng)學(xué)會(huì)的工600個(gè)單詞，基礎(chǔ)階段結(jié)束時(shí)應(yīng)掌握的詞匯量為4000個(gè)。僅僅掌握4000個(gè)單詞，能否看懂專業(yè)英文書刊呢？還不能。據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，掌握4000個(gè)單詞，閱讀一般的英文科技文獻(xiàn)，生詞量仍將有6％左右，即平均每百詞有六個(gè)生詞，還不能自由閱讀。國外的外語教學(xué)專家認(rèn)為，生詞量在3，

內(nèi)容概要

本收根據(jù)國家教委頒發(fā)的《大學(xué)英語專業(yè)閱讀階段教學(xué)基本要求》規(guī)定組織編寫的專業(yè)英語教材。本冊(cè)包括營銷戰(zhàn)略，管理會(huì)計(jì)、成本，計(jì)算機(jī)在建筑管理方面應(yīng)用，英，日等國大建筑公司概況，建筑戰(zhàn)略框架等。全書安排十六個(gè)單元，每單元除正課文外，還有兩篇閱讀材料，均配有必要的注釋，正課文還配有詞匯表和練習(xí)，書后附有總詞匯表，參考譯文和練習(xí)答案。
