內(nèi)容概要

本叢書(shū)依托《英語(yǔ)周報(bào)》優(yōu)勢(shì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)資源，是由英語(yǔ)周報(bào)特級(jí)教師根據(jù)自己多年的研究成果，特地為全國(guó)的中學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì)的一套全面提高英語(yǔ)能力的圖書(shū)。本書(shū)根據(jù)《英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》和《英語(yǔ)考試大綱》中的24個(gè)話題，整合出10個(gè)綜合性的話題，選編l50篇文章，分真題、模擬題和原創(chuàng)題三個(gè)部分。全書(shū)以閱讀為主線，以高考題為主導(dǎo)，通過(guò)閱讀來(lái)復(fù)習(xí)詞匯和語(yǔ)法知識(shí)點(diǎn)，旨在幫助中學(xué)生解決閱讀量小、閱讀范圍狹窄、詞匯量少、閱讀能力較低等問(wèn)題，通過(guò)話題閱讀、閱讀策略、讀寫(xiě)結(jié)合、閱讀測(cè)試與評(píng)價(jià)等模塊的有機(jī)組合，達(dá)到提高中學(xué)生綜合閱讀能力的目標(biāo)。本書(shū)適合高三年級(jí)及備戰(zhàn)高考的學(xué)生使用。

博于文《英語(yǔ)周報(bào)特級(jí)教師系列》總主編，兼任山西省教育學(xué)會(huì)副會(huì)長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)語(yǔ)用學(xué)研究會(huì)副理事長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)中小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教育研究中心主任、山西省教育學(xué)會(huì)外語(yǔ)專業(yè)委員會(huì)常務(wù)副理事長(zhǎng)等職。
　
他從事基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)教育與研究工作20余年，發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文30余篇，出版工具書(shū)及有關(guān)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的論著多部。由他親自編寫(xiě)的圖書(shū)主要有《最新高考科普閱讀200篇》、《當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)教學(xué)實(shí)用模式和技巧》、《素質(zhì)教育訓(xùn)練叢書(shū)》、《滿分與對(duì)策叢書(shū)》、《聚焦英語(yǔ)》、《名師說(shuō)課》和《巧學(xué)英語(yǔ)五步通》等，主持和參與編纂的英漢詞典主要有《中學(xué)生實(shí)用英語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞搭配》、《英語(yǔ)閱讀助讀詞典》、《英語(yǔ)閱讀文化背景詞典》、《英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)詞匯用法詳解詞典》、《英語(yǔ)常用詞用法詳解大詞典》、《新編英語(yǔ)中考必備》和《新編英語(yǔ)高考必備》等。
他注重內(nèi)涵式發(fā)展，創(chuàng)新編輯思路和發(fā)行體制，以科學(xué)發(fā)展觀統(tǒng)領(lǐng)英語(yǔ)周報(bào)社全局工作，培養(yǎng)了一支由外籍編審、歸國(guó)留學(xué)人員、眾多中離級(jí)職稱人員組成的專職編輯隊(duì)伍，在全國(guó)創(chuàng)建了400余個(gè)發(fā)行工作站，創(chuàng)造了期發(fā)行量1600余萬(wàn)份的輝煌業(yè)績(jī)，為我國(guó)基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)教育事業(yè)做出了巨大的貢獻(xiàn)。他也因此先后榮獲“山西省十大文化領(lǐng)軍人才”、“全國(guó)報(bào)業(yè)先進(jìn)經(jīng)營(yíng)管理工作者”、“中國(guó)十大報(bào)業(yè)創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)軍人物”、

　　Before the interstates were constructed， even a trip within an individual state often took con-siderable planning two-lane roads， dangerous and slow， were common The interstates， toredown the invisible walls around U. S. towns. President Eisenhower was in favor of building the in-terstates， because he believed that， in a time of war， they would be helpful in moving troops andsupplies. But their immediate effect was to make Americans feel that certain doors had been un-locke& With the interstates came a sense of freedom. A person could drive anywhere-everywhereeasily. Suddenly， horizons were unlimited. "Local" didn't mean quite the same thing it used to.Getting away was effortless.　　The introduction of national television meant that for the first time in history， people in everycorner of the country were watching exactly the same thing at exactly the same moment. It con-nected the country， in a way that even network radio hadn't accomplished， and it was because ofthe quality of the TV pictures. As with the interstates， coast-to-coast television was a cure to sepa-ration. Those who ran the newly formed television networks had an enormous amount of power.Their decisions about what to put on the air determined what people would be talking about thenext day. They controlled what people would laugh at and when， what people would cry over andwhen， what would anger people and when it would anger them.　　……
