　　本書(shū)以汽車結(jié)構(gòu)為主線，全面介紹了汽車各部分的組成、結(jié)構(gòu)和原理，特別是對(duì)電控燃油噴射、共軌噴射、微機(jī)控制點(diǎn)火、可變氣門定時(shí)、自動(dòng)變速器、無(wú)級(jí)變速器、防抱死制動(dòng)系統(tǒng)、牽引控制系統(tǒng)、電子穩(wěn)定性控制、巡航控制、安全氣囊、計(jì)算機(jī)控制懸架、汽車網(wǎng)絡(luò)、混合動(dòng)力和燃料電池等新技術(shù)的介紹約占三分之二的篇幅。本書(shū)共分14個(gè)單元，每個(gè)單元包含3篇課文、相關(guān)術(shù)語(yǔ)和翻譯技巧。課文后面有詞匯、課文注釋和練習(xí)題。書(shū)末附有詞匯總表，以方便查閱。本書(shū)可作為交通運(yùn)輸（汽車運(yùn)用工程方向）、車輛工程和汽車服務(wù)工程等汽車類本科專業(yè)的教材，亦可供有關(guān)工程技術(shù)人員學(xué)習(xí)參考。
