內(nèi)容概要

本書是為開設(shè)計(jì)算機(jī)專業(yè)英語課程的普通高校和廣大有志于自學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)英語的人員而編寫的教材。全書共15章，分為兩大部分：一部分是傳統(tǒng)的計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)技術(shù)領(lǐng)域，包括計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)、操作系統(tǒng)、數(shù)據(jù)庫、數(shù)據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)、計(jì)算機(jī)網(wǎng)絡(luò)等內(nèi)容；另一部分是新興的領(lǐng)域，包括信息安全與技術(shù)、地理信息系統(tǒng)、圖像處理和電子商務(wù)等內(nèi)容。每章包括兩篇正文和兩篇閱讀材料以及練習(xí)。每篇正文后附有單詞注解和難句翻譯。正文屬于精讀、精講的內(nèi)容。閱讀材料主要側(cè)重相應(yīng)領(lǐng)域的最新發(fā)展動(dòng)態(tài)，選文主要來源于近三年的外文期刊和有關(guān)網(wǎng)站，目的是開拓學(xué)生的專業(yè)視野，激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)和閱讀興趣。本書內(nèi)容新穎，選文來源寬泛，注重保持選文內(nèi)容的原汁原味。    本書可以作為計(jì)算機(jī)類專業(yè)本科或者?？频膶I(yè)英語教材，也可以作為信息類專業(yè)的選修教材，還可供參加計(jì)算機(jī)水平考試的考生、IT行業(yè)的工程技術(shù)人員學(xué)習(xí)參考。
