內(nèi)容概要

本書的主要特點:　  l．指導與訓練并重。目的在于通過本書的使用，考生可以有的放矢地進行考前的準備。 　　2．知識與能力并重。不僅注重考生的語言接受能力和產(chǎn)出能力的訓練，也兼顧語言知識的學習和掌握。 　　3．嚴格遵循PETS各級考試的各種要求。話題和習題設計緊扣考試大綱，力求考生的知識和能力符合考試大綱的要求。 　　本書由商務印書館教育圖書編輯室和北京新東方學校的優(yōu)秀教師夏鐵華、周潔策劃并組織編寫。參與編寫的人員都是從事外語專業(yè)教學與研究多年的英語教師。在編寫本書之前，我們這些教師對PETS考試大綱進行了深入細致的討論和研究，以確保充分領會考試大綱的精神，在編寫體例和內(nèi)容上充分體現(xiàn)考試大綱的要求。同時，我們也注意到參加PETS考試的考生多是靠自學來備考的實際情況，在編寫中力求做到教材的每個訓練項目都具有可操作性?？偠灾?，我們衷心希望考生通過本教材的使用能夠提高自己的外語綜合能力，順利通過PETS考試。 　　我們感謝教育部考試中心適時推出了科學的PETS考試。它使我們這些從事外語教學與研究的教師明確了教學和研究的方向，也使我們能為我國的外語教學改革和對外交流事業(yè)盡一分綿薄之力。
