前言

  《高級(jí)職業(yè)英語(yǔ)》(Aduanced Career English)是一套專門針對(duì)高職高專學(xué)生實(shí)際的公共英語(yǔ)系列教材。其編寫歷經(jīng)了兩年之久,經(jīng)過了大型調(diào)查研究,獲得了大量客觀可靠的數(shù)據(jù)和訪談筆錄,并在此基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行了科學(xué)的定量和定性分析。其編寫理念是在對(duì)用人單位、畢業(yè)生、在校生和教師及教學(xué)管理部門進(jìn)行調(diào)查的基礎(chǔ)上,采取“能力倒推”的方法,即根據(jù)調(diào)查統(tǒng)計(jì)結(jié)果篩選出畢業(yè)生實(shí)際工作崗位所涉及的崗位英語(yǔ)技能點(diǎn),再根據(jù)目標(biāo)工作崗位群的特征,將這些技能點(diǎn)按照語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的客觀規(guī)律進(jìn)行科學(xué)的編排和語(yǔ)言精加工,整合成具有共性特征的技能模塊,從而形成教材的主要架構(gòu)。  本系列教材依據(jù)教育部頒布的《關(guān)于全面提高高等職業(yè)教育教學(xué)質(zhì)量的若干意見》,遵循“面向社會(huì),針對(duì)崗位,強(qiáng)化能力,促進(jìn)發(fā)展”的宗旨,堅(jiān)持“能力本位、任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)、行動(dòng)導(dǎo)向、教學(xué)做一體化”的教學(xué)模式和以崗位技能為主線,以職場(chǎng)活動(dòng)為情景的編寫原則,構(gòu)建“基于工作過程的項(xiàng)目導(dǎo)向”的內(nèi)容體系,緊扣崗位需求,做到“學(xué)中做,做中學(xué)”,以“學(xué)以致用”、“學(xué)以管用”、突出技能訓(xùn)練、全面提高學(xué)生完成崗位工作能力為目的?! ”鞠盗薪滩男问叫路f,按照聽說模塊、讀寫模塊和拓展模塊分項(xiàng)編寫,內(nèi)容貼近崗位需求,具有獨(dú)到的針對(duì)性和實(shí)用性,為學(xué)生通過本教材的學(xué)習(xí),掌握職場(chǎng)生存和發(fā)展必需的英語(yǔ)基本技能提供了可靠的保障。  本系列教材借鑒國(guó)內(nèi)外優(yōu)秀教材的編寫經(jīng)驗(yàn),由外籍語(yǔ)言專家審定把關(guān),是一套專為高職高專院校非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)公共英語(yǔ)教學(xué)量身打造的綜合英語(yǔ)系列教材?!  陡呒?jí)職業(yè)英語(yǔ)》系列教材共三級(jí),每級(jí)由《聽說教程》、《讀寫教程》、《拓展教程》以及《教師參考書》組成,同時(shí)增加了《預(yù)備教程》可供入學(xué)水平較低的使用者選用。本系列教材每單元圍繞同一職業(yè)崗位技能展開訓(xùn)練,每個(gè)教程既相對(duì)獨(dú)立,又相互聯(lián)系和互為補(bǔ)充,從而形成一個(gè)有機(jī)的整體。

  4) Language study:Again it is inadvisable that the teacher spend too much time elaborating the usage of vocabulary and sentence patterns, though appropriate explanations and drills are absolutely necessary. The words, phrases and sentence patterns that are practised in the tasks that follow the reading passage are the key ones to which due attention should be paid. Tips for the teaching of language points:  1. One CH for the teaching of language points of the reading passage would be more than enough.  2. Focus on use rather than usage, effectiveness rather than efficiency, fluency rather than accuracy  3. EPE in teaching a language point:  A. Explanation: Any explanation should be made right to the point. Never sayanything that is more than necessary.  B. Practice: Teaching without practice is no teaching at all and explanation  without using is labour lost. So never teach a language point without giving the students time and opportunities to use it by repeating, translating, questioning and answering, making up sentences, etc.
