內容概要

　　《實用英語輔導與練習》分為課文輔導和綜合練習兩大部分，課文輔導部分包括學習要求、重要單詞和短語、難句分析、口語譯文和課文譯文。學習要求對每一單元的內容提出了具體學習要求；重要單詞和短語對每一單元的重要單詞和短語進行了講解并舉例說明；難句分析則就對話和課文中的難句進行了分析和講解；口語譯文和課文譯文對每單元的對話和課文進行了翻譯。綜合練習部分緊密結合教材各單元的教學內容進行復習、訓練、鞏固，引導學生針對各單元的教學內容，有效地進行練習和實踐，以期達到復習內容、鞏固知識和提高學生語言能力的目的。在附錄中配有兩套綜合自測題，既便于學生檢測自己的學習成效，也便于教師對教學活動進行評估。

　　wanted to steal the nice bell on his neighbours door. He walked up to thedoor, took hold of the bell and pulled hard. The bell sounded loudly. Thethief was frightened and ran home. Then he sat down and thought, "1must try to get rid of the noise. What can I do？" He thought hard, then hehad a "good" idea. "Ah, Ill stuff some cotton into my ears, so I wont beable to hear the noise. "　　The next day, again he went to the door of his neighbours house andtook hold of the bell. The bell was very loud, but the thief didnt hear it,because he had stuffed his ears with cotton. With another hard pull, hegot the bell off the door, just then the neighbour ran out.　　"Steal my bell？ rll teach you a lesson," the angry man shouted, andhit the thief on the head.
