前言

  《美術(shù)英語(yǔ)》是依據(jù)國(guó)家教育部《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》,為滿足美術(shù)類(lèi)學(xué)生的教學(xué)需求而編寫(xiě)的教材,旨在體現(xiàn)“以學(xué)生為本”、重視“人的發(fā)展”的教學(xué)原則。  本教材將英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言教學(xué)和學(xué)科知識(shí)學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)合起來(lái),課文內(nèi)容的選擇就是根據(jù)美術(shù)學(xué)科知識(shí),雖不十分專(zhuān)業(yè)但比較有系統(tǒng),以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在內(nèi)容學(xué)習(xí)中“習(xí)得”語(yǔ)言,擴(kuò)大詞匯量,通過(guò)接觸專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言并提高語(yǔ)言的實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力?! ”窘滩膹膬?nèi)容選擇到結(jié)構(gòu)安排,從教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)到課后練習(xí)編寫(xiě),都從美術(shù)類(lèi)學(xué)生的實(shí)際出發(fā),所選語(yǔ)料新穎實(shí)用,文章短小精悍,題材多樣,體裁不拘。文章主要選自當(dāng)代英美書(shū)刊及互聯(lián)網(wǎng)部分網(wǎng)站,有的是從某些著作中摘錄的片斷,有的是在原材料基礎(chǔ)上略作改寫(xiě)以適合美術(shù)類(lèi)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)水平。

內(nèi)容概要

  《美術(shù)英語(yǔ)》所選文章內(nèi)容涉及:國(guó)畫(huà)、書(shū)法、西畫(huà)、版畫(huà)、雕塑、攝影藝術(shù)、建筑藝術(shù)、陶瓷藝術(shù)、環(huán)藝設(shè)計(jì)、服裝設(shè)計(jì)、工業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)、平面設(shè)計(jì)、動(dòng)畫(huà)設(shè)計(jì)、家具、玩具設(shè)計(jì)等,共14個(gè)單元。每個(gè)單元圍繞一個(gè)主題展開(kāi),下設(shè):Pre.reading Activities、Text A和Text B三部分,融語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)、譯為一體,旨在提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合應(yīng)用能力。每篇課文包括生詞、短語(yǔ)、專(zhuān)業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)、注釋、難點(diǎn)講解和課后練習(xí)等內(nèi)容。課文中生詞、短語(yǔ)、專(zhuān)業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)和注釋分別用不同的排版形式加以區(qū)分,便于學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)。練習(xí)設(shè)計(jì)形式多樣,將語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)和專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)融為一體。

  Wus character was unrestrained, direct and indifferent to trivial matters,and it is known he always drank while painting. It is also said that when Wudrew the halo around Buddhas head in a mural, he only used his brusheswithout drafting the measurements first~ when he painted at LongxingTemples , the temple was always packed with observers. Wu moved his brushquickly, and most of his works were accomplished in a single session.Changan (present day Xian), capital of the Tang Dynasty, was the culturalcenter of the time where many famous men of letters and artists lived. Wuhad many opportunities to stay with them, which helped improve hispainting skills.  Wu mainly created religious murals all his life and his abundant works hada wide rang subjects. According to records, Wu painted over 300 muralsand more than 100 scrolls. While many of them involved Buddhism andTaoism, Wu also drew mountains, rivers, flowers and birds. The Presentationof Buddha is his most representative work. Unlike his predecessor Gu Kaizhi,whose line strokes were slender and forceful but lacked variety, Wus strokeswere full of change and vigor, expressing the internal world of his subjects.Wu Was always in when he was painting, and his works exhibitan expressionist style.
