前言

  隨著大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)改革的不斷深入,全國(guó)高校對(duì)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力的培養(yǎng)也更加重視。2007年頒布的《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》規(guī)定:“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合應(yīng)用能力,特別是聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力,使他們?cè)诮窈髮W(xué)習(xí)、工作和社會(huì)交往中能用英語(yǔ)有效地進(jìn)行交際,同時(shí)增強(qiáng)其自主學(xué)習(xí)能力,提高綜合文化素養(yǎng),以適應(yīng)我國(guó)社會(huì)發(fā)展和國(guó)際交流的需要?!贝髮W(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)越來(lái)越多地加大聽(tīng)說(shuō)內(nèi)容的教學(xué),而這方面的大學(xué)英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力教材仍然有待于進(jìn)一步完善,以適合不同層次學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練?!  洞髮W(xué)英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力》根據(jù)《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》編寫(xiě),以大量的聽(tīng)力材料和多種聽(tīng)力測(cè)試題型加以結(jié)合,為學(xué)習(xí)者提供了多種多樣,并且具有針對(duì)性的練習(xí)素材。該教材以英美文化背景為切入點(diǎn),提供了不同語(yǔ)境下原汁原味的表達(dá)方式,使學(xué)習(xí)者接觸到真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境,并訓(xùn)練學(xué)習(xí)者對(duì)文化背景、語(yǔ)境、語(yǔ)言材料的綜合理解能力,特別是聽(tīng)力理解能力。學(xué)習(xí)者在提高聽(tīng)力水平的同時(shí),能更加深入地了解西方的文化.從而使他們?cè)谡鎸?shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境中既學(xué)到了語(yǔ)言知識(shí),又學(xué)到了文化知識(shí)?! 〗滩闹械穆?tīng)力材料內(nèi)容多由幽默故事、趣味故事、童話、寓言、輕松對(duì)話和短文等各種文.體組成。在主題化框架內(nèi)展開(kāi)聽(tīng)說(shuō)訓(xùn)練。這些材料覆蓋面廣,涉及歷史、文化、科普、名人傳記和日常生活等諸多方面。貼近生活,不僅具有趣味性,而且注重知識(shí)性、可聽(tīng)性。豐富多彩的聽(tīng)說(shuō)語(yǔ)料圍繞主題反復(fù)強(qiáng)化語(yǔ)境,大大提高了語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)的再現(xiàn)率.無(wú)論是在素材的選擇上,還是在練習(xí)的編排上,都體現(xiàn)了新的教學(xué)理念和教學(xué)模式。使學(xué)習(xí)者在輕松而真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境中達(dá)到學(xué)習(xí)訓(xùn)練的目的?! ”咎捉滩墓菜膬?cè),由全國(guó)十幾所高校共同編寫(xiě)而成?!  洞髮W(xué)英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力》第一冊(cè)共十個(gè)單元,供一個(gè)學(xué)期使用。每個(gè)單元由三個(gè)部分構(gòu)成。每個(gè)部分有三篇短文或?qū)υ?,其?nèi)容具有一定的相關(guān)性,因此,使學(xué)生有效地學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)某個(gè)主題的詞匯和表達(dá)方式。第一部分MainIdeasandImportaJntDetails,旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生把握所聽(tīng)文章的中心大意,捕捉相關(guān)細(xì)節(jié)的能力。

內(nèi)容概要

  One winter Mr.and Mrs.Robinson went to Encland,and they took John there.John was seven years old thell.0Re day it snowed.The boy went into the~arden.and he played in the snow.He said,“Snow iS very beautiful.but it isvery cold.”Then he said,“What is this?It is a big,round piece of glass.It is beautiful,but itiS very cold。too.”But it was not glass.It was ice.It was on a bucket of water.Johnsaid.“Who put this glass here?I am going to take it into the house.”He took theice to his father and said,“This is a beautiful piece of glass.but it is vcrV cold andWet.It WaS on a bucket ofwater in dle garden.”Mr.Robinson smiled and said.“Takeit to the ldtchen,put it in front of the Stove there,and dry it.”The boy took the iceto the kitchen and put it in front of the Stove。He dried his hands.because they werevery cold and wet,and then he went to dle ice again.Helooked at it.and then hetook it to his father again.He said,“Iput this glass in front of the Stove,but it doesnot get much drier.It becomes much wetter and smaller.”  Mr.Hill arrives at London Airport,at the end of a three-week holiday in France.Usually he wears a beard.Since it has been hot there,he has taken it off.But hispasspoft photo shows him with his beard.An looks at dle photo for a moment~and says:“Will you exclJse me?Please sit down.I shouldnt keep you long.”With this.he walks away.
