英語聽力教程

前言

　　近年來，我國高職高專教育的改革和發(fā)展取得了長足的進步。無論是學校數量，還是在校生人數都占到高?？倲岛蛯W生人數的一半以上。開設高職高專英語專業(yè)的學校數量和學生人數也增長很快。為了滿足新形勢對高職高專英語專業(yè)教育和人才培養(yǎng)的需求，我們編寫了“高職高專英語專業(yè)立體化系列教材”。該套教材被列為普通高等教育“十一五”國家級規(guī)劃教材?！　”咎捉滩牧D體現我國高職高專英語專業(yè)教學實踐的特點，遵循高職高專教育“實用為主、夠用為度”的總體指導方針，充分反映中國學生學習英語的規(guī)律和要求，并體現我國英語教學研究的新成果、新思想和新理念。教材的設計充分考慮高職高專英語專業(yè)的課程設置、課時、教學要求與高職高專英語專業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)的要求與目標，力圖處理好打好英語語言基礎與培養(yǎng)英語語言應用能力的關系，強調英語語言基本技能的訓練與培養(yǎng)實際運用英語從事涉外交際活動的語言應用能力并重?！　　队⒄Z聽力教程》的編寫主要以建構主義學習理論為指導，以幫助學生培養(yǎng)自主學習意識、提高自主學習能力和學習效率為目的。教材內容涉及學生校內外的日常生活、英語國家的社會習俗、世界各地的人文地理知識、語言的故事和有關政治、經濟、文化、體育等的新聞時事報道等。內容形式有簡單的情景會話、小對話、短文、影視錄音、時事報道、經典英文歌曲、幽默故事、繞口令等。練習形式包括三種：1.針對語音語調的模仿和辨別練習；2.針對單項基本技能的選擇填空、判斷正誤、詞或詞組填空、尋找關鍵詞、判斷不同語音語調的表達意圖等；3.針對綜合技能訓練的聽寫、回答問題、復述或概述主要內容、做聽力筆記等。

　　UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol　　Over a decade ago, most countries joined an international treaty —— the United NationsFramework Convention on Climate Change （UNFCCC） —— to begin to consider whatcan be done to reduce global warming and to cope with whatever temperature increasesare inevitable. Recently, a number of nations have approved an addition to the treaty:the Kyoto Protocol, which has more powerful （and legally binding） measures. TheUNFCCC secretariat supports all institutions involved in the climate change process,particularly the COP, the subsidiary bodies and their Bureau. The Kyoto Protocol, aninternational and legally binding agreement to reduce greenhouse gases emissionsworld wide, entered into force on 16 February 2005.The Middle East　　The Middle East is a region loosely defined by geography and culture. It is locatedin southwestern Asia and northeastern Africa. It has been called the "cradle ofcivilization," The first civilizations of the Middle East, which grew in the valleys of theNile, Tigris, and Euphrates rivers, are among the oldest in the world. Alphabets, lawcodes, and cities all began in the Middle East, as did the worlds three greatmonotheistic religions, Judaism （13th century BC）, Christianity （1st century to 4thcentury AD） and Islam （7th century AD）. Of the three, Islam continues to mark theregion most profoundly. More than 90 percent of the people of the Middle East areMuslims.
